- “Well why don’t we send the four of them and perhaps one other warrior with them Locustsight for border patrol?” He sighs as he turned to his deputy before looking back at Duckwind. He almost debated on going along with them, but he did need to speak with Appleleaf. "I'm sure they'll be helpful if something goes wrong on the patrol," he joked of course. "I'm sure he is, I'm glad he is doing well. Probably time for one of his first assessments too I'd imagine? See how he's coming along so far. And Newtpaw needs one soon..." He nods a bit as he watched the two apprentices, forgetting Newtpaw had been the older apprentice and closer to becoming a warrior.
- Thornstep nodded a bit as he smiled sadly. "Yeah my mom Bluestream was the same way when she was Spottedpaw's age from what Blizzardstar said," he shrugged once before he noticed the two apprentices making their way out of the apprentice den. "I'm sure they'll enjoy sparring with each other. Shall we demonstrate first or let them just start?" He asked, he knew these were both their first apprentices since becoming warriors but she had been a mentor for a moon longer. He didn't normally do sessions together with other apprentices as he wanted Mousepaw to maintain focus.
He was surprised at how excited and awake Mousepaw was despite just being woken up. "Good morning Mousepaw, glad to see you've joined us."
- "Yeah but he acts like a grumpy elder so there's a chance," she joked before they had gotten to their mentors. "What are we getting to do for training today Spidermask?"
- Icekit had slowly let go of her brother when hearing her mother talking about food. "Yeah well one of us should be," She told Flamingkit. "I'll probably be warrior before any of you," She told almost certain, only if she of course didn't get into any trouble that caused her to not become one.
- Nightshade purred softly and nodded his head once. "I'm sure you're a proud mother who loves her kits very much," he smiled at her. He wasn't sure of the love that was between a parent and their child but one day he hoped to know it and have his own kits with a she-cat though the only she-cat he did want them with was taken. The she-cat that he was talking to. "That's true, we'll need some more kits before we know it," Nightshade agreed as he thought of the older apprentices that would be warriors any day now. He quickly had lead Poppyflower out of camp before Rosestar or Mossclaw could stop them, brushing against the queen lightly as the two walked together.
- Bravepaw laughed softly, he didn't expect Tornpaw to go easy on him at all. He didn't want someone to do that, he wanted to be really the best warrior he could be. "No worries long as you don't expect me to go easy on you then," he teased playfully. He blinked at Brokenwish and nodded his head, "of course! I'd never want to hurt a clanmate!"
