deep in the mountains of central america lives the powerful cats of
stoneclan. the clan is full of brave warriors and is led by a wise and
good-hearted leader. they live in the center of the mountains where
the prey is plentiful, the predators are minimal, and the rival clan does
not mess with them, or at least they haven't for many years. however,
rival clans are not their biggest problem at the moment. no. instead, a
savage illness has hit the clan, and, sadly, the cure is unknown. much
of the clan is suffering from the illness and many have already died,
leaving the clan with half of its cats still alive, but not well. a prophecy
foretells six cats who will rise to rid the clan of the illness and save the
remainder of the cats, including the sick leader. the six cats will travel
long and far to the place starclan told them about in the prophecy, a
territory owned by a clan of cats who do not live by the warrior code.
they live near the caves of a stone covered area, and their ancestors
were pets of the aztecs. they do not have warriors names but instead
names that have been passed down by their aztec ancestors. the
prophecy cats will be given the panacea by these cats after fully
understanding the ways of the non-warrior cats and gaining their
trust. only after this can they return home and save their clan.

since this rp will take place right at the beginning of the adventure for
the prophecy cats, this will be a place to describe the surroundings
for the aztec cats. the camp is set up in temple ruins in the middle
of a beautiful forest. the queen and king live in the middle opening
of the temple, under the tree that has grown over the stone. the healer
and healer trainee live to the far right of the king and queen, in a room
with two entrances. there are eight extra nests in there for sick cats
and plenty of room for herbs and healing aids. the trainees and guards
live together to the far left of the queen and king. between the leaders
and the trainees and guards is the nursery, safely guarded. the fresh kill
pile is in the circular area right in front of the tree that grows on the
stone. the queen and king have designated the broken stone way up to
be the place for ceremonies and important news announcements. the
cats live not far from a small groups of twolegs, whom they call
biwalkers. they live in huts and are kind to the tribe, and though they
rarely come in contact, there is always peace between the two species.
in some instances the tribe will go to the biwalkers in order to heal a
sick mate or tribe member. back to the surroundings, not too far
from the temple is a lake where fish are abundant.

Ｐｒｅｙ ａｎｄ Ｔｈｒｅａｔｓ：
the tribe has various prey around their camp, including mice,
chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, finches, sparrows, magpies, robins,
and gophers. of course, fish are their main source of prey.
where prey is plentiful, so are the threats. eagles, hawks, falcons,
snakes, bears, ocelots, coyotes, foxes, and raccoons.

Ｔｒｉｂｅ Ｃａｔ Ｂｅｈａｖｏｉｒ：
the tribe cats are fantastic swimmers. they prefer to be in the water,
in fact, than cooling off on a rock somewhere. they are very agile cats
and are also capable of climbing trees without much difficulty. they
are more lean cats, so battling isn't really their strong suit. however,
if faced with difficulties, they usually use their wit to get out of it.

Ｓｅａｓｏｎ ＆ Ｗｅａｔｈｅｒ：
it is time of blossom (newleaf or spring). it is still cool, but the trees
are slowly beginning to bloom around the camp and lake. the cats
have no issue with the cool weather, but in fact are quite content.

the forest was silent, nothing heard but the small breaths of the quiet warriors and apprentices, six of them to be exact. firestrike was one of the prophecy cats, and he was still sleeping after a long day trek to find help. and he was not going to wake up anytime soon, or so he thought. his belly slowly moved up and down as he inhaled and exhaled. his breathing was a bit faster than normal, but it was only because he was dreaming. he was in a field, alone. the sky held the bright sun in place with no clouds to cover its light. surrounding him were thousands of blades of grass, as well as an abundance of flowers here and there. he started off with a saunter as she took in the surrounding field, but his paws soon sped up into a race. the wind pushed his fur back, his ears moving ever so slightly as well. it was almost like he was flying. he was airborne for the majority of the time, his paws only coming down to meet the ground for a millisecond before once again returning to the air. however, the sky suddenly grew dark, the sun blacked out and the ground became bare and hard. firestrike stopped as quick as he could, his surroundings changing to a dark forest with crooked trees hovering over his body, decay finding its way crawling towards him. his breath became heavy and short, fear taking over until--

the sandy orange tom woke up with a jolt, his whole body jerking as he sat up. he looked around to find that he was in the forest with the other five, and with that he was relieved. he let out a small breath and stood there for a moment, trying to get his thoughts together. he then stood up after a while and looked around where the six slept. their night was safe and quiet for the most part. he awoke just at sunrise. the sky was vivid with orange and yellow, and rays of sunshine peaked through the intermingled branches onto the patch where the warriors and apprentices slept. firestrike took it upon himself to watch over the rest of the cats as they slept. he climbed the nearest tree branches and got a high enough ground where he could keep a strict watch.

the amber-eyed calico molly had a fair nights rest, leaving her ready for the day that came. the sun was shining ever so brightly, like a veil delicately laying over the temple. careful not to disturb the king, she silently padded out of the royal den and into the clearing in front of the temple. the tribe was a peaceful bunch, though they were protective over their land and their tribemates. their territory was usually the same, though every now and then there loners who were dumb enough to challenge the tribe. the way of the tribe was quite different than the way of the clan. while the clans usually never ventured out of their camp without at least one cat with them, the tribe cats came and went freely from the temple. deaths due to predators were unusual, simply because the humans were not too far away. they kept the predators low which kept the cats safe. though trainees and kits were not permitted to leave without a guard or elder by their side. deaths due to predators might be uncommon, but they were not nonexistent. traveling too far from the humans and the temple meant putting yourself in danger. hawks, eagles, falcons, and snakes were always hiding, waiting to strike. most guards could handle themselves, but trainees and kits? not til they turned of age.

citlali made her way quietly out of the camp and made her way to the lake. always being careful of possible bears, she kept her eyes and ears open for any threatening sounds. she padded up to the water and was immediately faced with relaxation, per usual. the water reflected the green of the evergreens surrounding it, and her reflection was now looking up at her. she pawed at the water, ever so slightly taken aback by the chill of the water. while her tribe loved swimming, she was still not a fan of the cold water. the summer, however, was a different story. one couldn't get her out of the water, let alone keep her from being around it at all times. she was like a "catfish" that lived on land and in water. finding the nearest rock to sunbathe, she jumped up and laid down, crossing her paws and closing her eyes to take in the sun.

Necalli was sitting close by to the Guard and Trainee's den and watched his daughter, Tlachinolli, as she started to stir from her sleep and let out a soft sigh. He didn't understand why his daughter couldn't just let him in, she seemed so hurt when he didn't pay attention to her when she was a kit and now that they were each others only living kin, he would assume they'd be able to lean on each other more and finally become more like family. But no, his daughter had to be hard-headed and hold a grudge against him because she refused to accept a simple apology.

Tlachinolli woke up from her slumber, feeling the gaze of her father resting on her and let out an annoyed hiss. She raised her head to meet his gaze and saw a hopeful glint in his eyes when they met "Stop watching me" she growled before standing up and walking past him, out of the area shared by the Guards and Trainees. She harshly knocked him with her shoulder and said in a cold tone that she always seemed to use when addressing her father "take that as a warning, we may be clanmates but I will never grow close to you. Go back to day dreaming like you always do"

Atzi had been fast asleep in her nest, only occasionally shifting as she dreamt but was woken up by a soft hiss of pain and her gaze made its way over to Necalli. The wise one scared her, he was the one who crushed her dreams of her parents ever coming back to her and he did it in such a cruel way. She waited for him to look away from the nests and quickly got up, slipping right past him unnoticed.
