"Are you sure? I mean as long as you think you're up for it," she nodded some to her leader. It was hard to believe that the leader was only a moon younger than she was and been leader since she's been deputy and already had lost one of their lives. It made her anxious sometimes since then when Tigerstar would leave camp. "Yeah I'm sure with more cats doing border patrols it'll make it hard for them to come around," she relaxed some as the tom had comforted her. Tigerstar was her friend, it was hard to not worry about him leaving camp without her despite that she knew he was more than capable of taking care of himself as well as their clan.

Weaselpaw let out a playful growl as he shook his head while he watched the tom nearly try to embarrass him. "You're a terrible brother," he sighs out once as he shifted some, debating on whether to pounce on Minkpaw to make him stop or not. If he didn't he knew he would continue because he was right, he was a tough exterior with a soft interior - once in you knew it like how Minkpaw did. He quickly decided to pin the other down playfully, almost doing it just because he could somewhat show off to Tigerstar. The two of them were old enough to become warriors any moon now.
"Why you gotta taunt me all the time? Let alone just call me okay? I know I'm more than just okay. I'm a fantastic fighter and maybe you're the better hunter but I have the faster instincts in a battle where it counts... Especially with loners coming in and out of our territory lately." He was one of the patrols a few dawns ago that had drove off the last one but determining tones from their mothers conversation with the leader, one must of came back.

Stagpaw had laughed softly as the other got embarrassed and gave her ear a friendly lick. "It's alright, everyone has their downfall and you have quite the large tail. Somehow use that to your advantage and you'll be fine," she told the younger apprentice before continuing to clean herself. "For me it's how small I am overall, which isn't always great since I have small legs but it does make it easier to hide from prey overall. I'm sure if you asked Thornstep he could give you an idea - he has a long tail like you as well." She glanced over at the young warrior at the front of camp, "doesn't have to be right now but I'm sure he's found a way to use it to his advantage. He's not scary you know, he's quite friendly."

Thornstep had finished his fresh-kill by the time the deputy had came over to him, which was no surprise. He was one of the few warriors currently without an apprentice which meant he was usually free to do patrols but also he didn't usually mind doing that since it got him to not just sit around camp. "Morning Minnowleap," he greeted her and purred softly as she asked him to lead a patrol. "But of course, are you wanting me to take anyone in particular?" He quickly got up, stretching some in the process. "Are they crossing our borders again?"
