I trust you will pass on you skills to this young apprentice."

Crookedfoot settled down next to the apprentice closely, letting her silky, silver fur brush along Scorpionpaw's. She felt her heart flutter a little bit as the saw her before quickly casting her eyes toward her paws for a quick second. Taking a quick, deep breath, Crookedfoot refocused to her attention to everything going on around her.

"Kits? Naming ceremony? Okay, got it!" She mewed, trying to sound like she actually understood everything. "Kits are always fun. Tiny, mewling, pokey, squirmy balls of fun. What's not to enjoy?" She laughed awkwardly, not really sure where to take the conversation.

Briarthorn watched, a mixture of feelings roiling in her gut. Pride for her clan, excitement at the chance of becoming a mentor and happiness for the little to-be apprentices. Though her chances were small, she still could barely suppress a grin.

Volefrost strutted up to the clearing and sat down, a determined expression on his face. This could be it, the day he got an apprentice. Sure, there was no guaruntee, but hoping never did any harm.

The medicine cat apprentice had an odd expression, but she couldn't tell what it was.
