Jessie smiled and shook her head, "Nothing, never mind," She added... As she walked into the barn.

Luke nodded with a smile and sat the bags down in the barn, "I better go unload me horse. It was nice to meet ya Jessie," He tipped his hat and turned.

"Yeah, same here, and thank for your help," She said softly and watched Luke turn.

Luke smiled and walked out to his trailer. He stepped in and untied Dusty. Luke walked her out and closed the trailer door behind him.

Jessie watched Luke for a minute, then turned as Roy walked back into the room, "Hey you got the bags in here fast!" He said with a grin.
"Yeah with no thanks to you....Luke helped me!" Jessie explained.\

"Luke? Who in the heck is Luke?" He asked madly.
Jessie pointed, "Him, that's Luke," She said with dazed eyes.

Roy turned and tried to kiss Jessie. But Jessie quickly turned away.
"C'mon baby!" Roy said as he grabbed her arms.
"No, Roy....What have you been drinking," Jessie asked as she pulled away.....But Roy ketp trying to get Jessie to kiss him, holding on to her arms tight, "Let go of me!" Jessie yelled with a sightly scared voice.

Luke's head shot up and he glanced in the barn. He dropped Dusty's rope and ran in to barn, up to Roy and Jessie.

Luke grabbed Roy by the arm, "Why don't you let her go?" He asked standing tall.

Roy turned, pushing Jessie as he did so, "What?......Get your hands off me," Roy said madly as he pulled his arm back.
"Will Wonder-Boy, you need to mind your own business," He added.

Jessie stood back wondering if this would turn into a fight.

''The name is Luke, and this might just be my business... Your hurting the lady," Luke said calmly.

"Yeah Wonder-boy! This is my girlfriend!" He explained.

Luke sighed, "Yes, we've met. Girlfriend or not, you don't have to treat her that way," He told Roy.
