Cloudfoot purred as he felt Spottedpaw's small warm head rub against his shoulder. He licked her ear affectionately in return. When the two cats stepped back and the deputy rested his odd-eyed gaze back on the she-cat, he nodded in response to the apprentice's question, "Yes. I don't know where he is right now but I'll talk to him eventually," he said, "I'll need to plan your assessment with him anyway."

The deputy chuckled lightly when Blizzardclaw came back into conversation, "Yea, I know how stubborn he is. He just needs to get over this kit-like phase. Besides, it's not like he'll ever become deputy. I was already a senior warrior when I was made deputy. He's still fairly young and has a chance."

Pinepaw caught notice of Palejaw staring at him when he joined the group for a meal and turned to Tinymask upon hearing the young warrior's question, "Not really," he said, shrugging his shoulders, "I guess this journey has been pretty cool though. I can't wait until I'm older so I can tell the stories to the future cats of what we went through." The apprentice smiled at the thought. Maybe when he received his very first apprentice he would tell them all about his adventures with the Clan. He would tell them the good things and the bad things. The sights. The deaths. The events. Everything he could remember. It made Pinepaw more excited to settle in a new and better territory.

Blizzardclaw groaned at the thought of being nice to Cloudfoot, he did try to apologize or well talk him into apologizing to Cloudfoot for his past actions against him. "Fine I suppose we can work on being nice to them together... You have to be nice to Littlestar too, it wasn't her fault everything happened," he frowned and nuzzled his neck some. He relaxed a bit as he thought about Spottedpaw becoming a warrior, "I'll be proud of her if she ends up as a deputy or leader one day... She deserves it she seems to have a silver tongue."

Spottedpaw purred softly as she felt the affectionate lick before she had pulled back away from him. Despite having a different mentor and loving Ripplefang, she had for the last moon looked up at Cloudfoot for guidance as well. "Oh he's with Blizzardclaw talking about something I guess... If I had a guess I'm sure it was about you and about what you did tell him and what not. Ripplefang is probably on your side you know, he never gives an attitude just because he has a relationship with my dad," she shook her head once, she wasn't sure if that was secretive or not that the two toms did like each other. "But I don't even know if Blizzardclaw would even want to become leader now especially if the two of you finally connect. Or is this a secret way of telling me if you became a leader that you would choose him?" The apprentice looked at the deputy and smirked once. "Of course then I'd be upset," she joked.

Hollycloud sighs and nodded her head once. "I only hope so, I don't want us to just traveling for moons on end. I want a home, one where we all are happy and calm," she told Driftwood as they headed back to their camp.

Snowpetal had soon padded further away from the others as she followed the scent of a nearby prey, perhaps multiple. She couldn't tell as all she knew was there was so many scents running through her nose. There was a lot of prey here compared to where they came from, she remembered when home had been running for prey like this. It felt nice, it felt like a possible home for them. When she visually had saw a squirrel, she sprung into action and chased it before managing to catch it and put it out of its misery. All she needed was to get another and she could head back to camp.

"Well good," Cloudfoot huffed, "I hope he'll give Blizzardclaw some sense." While he didn't know if Ripplefang completely supported him, the deputy was nonetheless thankful that the warrior had some sense of reason. Cloudfoot's face immediately became hot on the suggestion that he was secretly implying picking Spottedpaw's father as deputy, "N-No!" he spat nervously "I'm more likely to retire than become leader, you know. I'm not that young anymore and I'd hate if anything happened to Littlestar. B-But if I did become leader then I'd pick whoever I see fit for the role, whether that be you, him, or anybody!" He puffed out his chest in a pouty, exaggerated way to show that he was following in on the joke. Regardless however, it was true. Cloudfoot was only five moons younger than Littlestar, so if she died late in her life it wouldn't be likely that he would still be serving as deputy. Being senior warrior when picked, he knew this fact from the very beginning.

Spottedpaw laughed as she listened to Cloudfoot and nodded her head once, "I feel like he has more sense now then he did before so I'm sure he is." She smiled once as she felt like she embarrassed the deputy, trying to hold back a laugh but she couldn't help it. "Oh come on, you say that but I'm sure you have plenty more seasons left in you if you were to become leader. You're young enough to not be an elder so I don't think you should retire if anything were to happen to Littlestar," She told him seriously as she knew the tom wasn't that old but also not as young he once was. "Oh come on you know you'll pick me just admit it," she teased him and purred softly. She wouldn't mind becoming deputy but also, Tinymask and her did want to have two litters and she wouldn't know how that would work. Though Tinymask too was a good choice, not that the older warriors didn't too have a chance too - they were more experienced but sometimes that didn't mean to be the right choice.

Willowshine purred approvingly as their apprentice caught the mouse, standing up and padding over to him, "Very good! I'm so proud of you." They mewed, a touch of enthusiasm in their voice as they praised him. Glancing behind them, they tasted the air for the patrol's scent, "Let's go catch up with the patrol. You can take that with you or bury it to take back later." They nodded towards the mouse.

Minnowkit eventually relaxed, slowly drifting back to sleep as his sister huddled up next to him. He kept his muzzle buried in their mother's fur, which kept the sun out of his eyes. The journey so far had been a bit rough for him, making the small tom much more sleepy than usual.

He gave a smile to Mosuewing and Jaggedpaw, before turning away to leave the two to talk. He scanned around the ópen lands, with plenty of forests and a small river. This could be itself a good place for the new home, but there was little too much of open areas and not many rocks or place to make the dens.

She managed to find mice and a bird, pretty quickly, not even needed to go that far away to the others. There was so much preys that she found it weird how their old territory was dying out and the lands around it were pretty dry too, they even ost one of their warrior there, but luckily it was only one.

Walking closer to the cleaning, looking the clanmates which were still left there, mostly watching the to kits there playing. Smiling the injured elder was blad that they seemed healthy for now, but being still so young anything could happen to them. The clan itself seemed to go fine, the only cat which was not so fine was Mousewing another older warrior.

"Yeah, though it is kind of cool to travel around and see different places. But it probably wouldn't be safe to travel a lot with PebbleFrost's kits since they're so young" DriftWind responded, in all honesty she wouldn't mind traveling around for moons and moons but she also knew it wouldn't be safe for kits since predators could easily pick them off.

A soft smile appeared on the toms face at his mentors praise and he nodded. He sat down before using his front paw to dig before placing the mouse into the small hole. He then covered it up, since they had no idea what could be out here he decided it would be best to bury the mouse. He stood back up and looked at WillowShine "Alright, lets go" He spoke before following his mentor to find the rest of the patrol.

Cloudfoot was about to reply to Spottedpaw when he suddenly heard a rumbling noise, "H-Huh?" He looked around frantically, unsure where it was coming from, then looked up to see a huge sheet of snow and rocks rapidly tumbling down the mountain. The deputy's body froze and his eyes widened with horror. No! Not again! When Cloudfoot realized what he was witnessing he suddenly whipped his head back at the apprentice, "Run away Spottedpaw!" he yowled at her, "Fast as you can! Hurry!" The tom immediately turned away and began to shout as loud as his lungs would allow him to, "AVALANCHE! AVALANCHE! RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!"

Pinepaw was startled by the sudden rumbling noise that came from above. His ears flattened, not knowing what was going on, "Um... What's that noise?" he asked nervously before he immediately heard Cloudfoot's cries of danger. The apprentice stared at the white tom in horror before suddenly rising up to his paws as the rumbling became louder and louder, "We... We gotta go," he stammered to the two toms next to him, looking around for Spottedpaw and his mother, "Let's go!"

"Run? From what?" The apprentice asked before she had looked up and noticed the avalanche, she was a bit in shock from seeing it. She barely could get her legs to move and when she did she quickly ran away as the deputy had instructed him to. She had tried nudging Tinymask to get up as the avalanche wasn't slowing down at all. "Tinymask hurry!" she whimpered as she saw Pinepaw also growing into a panic. She probably felt that way too, she didn't know where Tempestpaw went or her father had gone to with Ripplefang. "Hurry! We need to make it to safety!"

Before Hollycloud could answer her sister she heard Cloudfoot's voice about an avalanche before she had looked in front of them to see it. She panicked as she turned back to her sister, "we got to run!" She went to turn around to run away from the camp.

Snowpetal was working on returning back to camp when feeling the ground shaking as the snow began rolling down the side of the mountain. She began shaking as she remembered how she had lost her mate in the rockslide that took quite a few cats lives in camp. She was worried for the kits but knew she was too far away to help Pebblefrost right now, all she could focus would be for her patrol to beginning running. "Avalanche!" She yelled as she ran back towards the rest of the patrol.

His ear twitched when he heard the yells of his clanmates and he glanced back towards where he had just buried the mouse, looks like he’d just have to leave it. Without waiting for his mentor, the young tom bolted into a random direction and caught sight of the snow moving down the mountain. He panicked and continued to run, wanting to get out of the way.
