shortly after receiving her medicine cat name, ashenfawn was granted a gift of intuition by the spirits.
first, she received a strange and prophetic dream of the future.
a dream of a tyrant coming to "purify" silverclan.
a dream of bloodshed and shadows.
a nightmare.
she told oceanstar and the other medicine cat, unaware that she'd already been in contact with the enemy.
the young leader, in his own blindness, decides to court the youngest medicine cat as his future mate.
first with the intentions of using her intuition, oceanstar slips and falls in love. ashenfawn becomes
trapped in a neutral position. while his plans fall into place, so do the rebels', and she sees it unfolding
before it occurs.
she will be granted another dream, a dream of the future and the saviors. the rebels of silverclan, cats
both mixed and pure-blooded, fighting against the motion of purity. a small enemy clan will form, refugees
who escaped oceanstar's wrath, but can ashenfawn guarantee their survival with most of the clan under
his spell?
the breakdown: who's who?
the leader: a young tom with a heart of malice and bad intentions. he receives a vision telling him to purify
silverclan and decides he's willing to do whatever it takes to do it, whether it's mass exile or killing anyone
who tries to stop him. he falls in love with the young medicine cat and tries to get her to see what he sees.
he's very charming and manipulative and was able to convince the majority of the pureblooded clan cats
that purification was the solution to their problems.
the young medicine cat: a shecat fresh out of her apprenticeship with the gift of intuition. she's smart and
clever and knows she must stay neutral in order to survive. she helps both sides but really doesn't play for
either team throughout the plot. her main focus is keeping as many cats alive as possible. she's thrown a
curveball with the leader's feelings towards her and struggles to keep control of the situation as he courts
her.
the rebel leader: could be any age or gender but most likely an older cat of mixed blood. they are the first
to go against the leader's ways, and are exiled in return. this forms a spark of anger in their heart and they
realize they have to fight for their home. they begin to rally other exiles and even get spies within the clan
itself to try and figure out the leader's next move. they become the ringleader of the rebellion.
the rebels: the main cats behind the rebellion with their own leader. they start a new clan away from the
purity crisis. the rebels are cats of mixed and pure blood alike, those who would rather live in a more
welcoming environment without the new leader. they will have two spies within silverclan until they're caught.
