Peace had always been the policy within Sunclan. Warriors killed prey and supplied their clan with food, while medicine cats gathered herbs and all praised the sun for giving the territory around them life. StarClan was their savior, but when Lavenderstar got a whispering dream from StarClan, she feared for the safety of her clan. Soon after this "dream", clouds the color of ash covered the baby blue sky. The sun became hidden and suddenly, Sunclan was hidden in darkness. Then came the snow, and it fell and fell...

Prophecy
"When the sun turns to snow and the river turns to ice, you will have to surrender or pick a place to hide."

Territory
Sunclan is placed in a dense forest, where if you take one wrong step you will become missing. To the north of their camp, there is a quick river that could swallow a cat whole. Though within this river is plenty of fish (salmon, minnows, bluegill, etc)
Camp is a clearing protected by ancient trees. Inside of camp, there is a massive stump where Lavenderstar will call her meetings. Warriors sleep wherever they please. Apprentices, queens & elders all sleep in the same place, which is the furthest corner of camp that is surrounded by brush.

A chilly breeze drifted through the trees that surrounded camp. She sat upon her meeting stump, blue eyes gazing beyond herself. Her pelt bristled as the cold irritated her skin. Why is leaf-fall coming so quickly? She questioned, her gaze lifting to the sky. She stared beyond the canopy above her as she watched orange leaves fall to the forest floor. The sun was bright above her, sending rays to cut the tree tops. She drew in a deep, cool breath and she let it out in a steamy puff. She closed her eyes for a moment, listening to the close song of the birds. She listened to the whispering breeze which carried drifting leaves. Within a few days, her empty camp would be filled with crackling leaves and excited apprentices.

The deputy had been awake for a short while now, glancing around camp and watching as cats brought themselves out of the dens. I wonder who I can bring on a patrol, Silverdew thought to herself. So far, not many cats were awake and she knew she'd have to wait longer before being able to head out. A part of her didn't mind -- the weather seemed very odd today. Leaves were already falling from the trees although it hadn't been a full three moons.
