S H A D E C L A N

Shadeclan has lived in the pine forest for generations. The pine forest was their home. When a band of rogues moved in close to their border, their leader thought nothing of it, saying that they couldn't be greedy and take the whole forest for themselves. The rogues thought otherwise. They wanted the whole forest for themselves, they did not want to share with the clan cats. The cats of Shadeclan raised their worries to the leader, but he refuses to listen- but he should have. A moon later, the rogues invaded their camp, killing many. Among them was their leader who did not listen. Fortunately, the clan still outnumbered the rogues and succeeded in defending their camp. A new leader rises, determine to rid of the rogues. Both the clan and the rogues were weak, but moons has passed and both groups have built up their numbers and it won't be long until the rogues made their second move...

Shadeclan Territory:

Shadeclan is located in a pine forest. Their camp is deep into the forest in an area with soft, flattened grass and is surrounded with trees, brambles, and bushes- a natural defensive wall. The entrance/exit is a short tunnel through a few thick bushes.
The Tall Rock is where the Shadeclan's leader stand to make announcements & hold ceremonies. Next to the Tall Rock, there is a short, dead pine tree. The Leader's den is under it's roots.
The medicine cat's den is at the back of the camp, furthest from the entrance/exit. It is inside the trunk of a large tree. Vines and overgrown moss hangs above the entrance.
All other dens are under the roots of large trees, dug out by Shadeclan ancestors.

East of the camp, there is a large pond. Cats can drink from here and catch fish. During Leaf-bare, the pond forms a thin layer of ice that can easily be broken. A small stream is located North of the camp. It flows well only in Newleaf. The stream dries up in Greenleaf and during Leaf-fall, the stream flows thinly. It is nonexistent in Leaf-bare.
West and South of the camp is endless pine forest... that's what the elders say. No Shadeclan cat has ever ventured far enough to find anything different.

The Rogue camp is far North of Shadeclan's camp.

Rogue Territory:

The Rogues lives inside a small abandoned one living room cabin. A twin size bed with a cover-less, dirty, mattress is to the side of the house and a torn up fabric couch is on the other side. There is a small desk next to the bed, which is where the leader makes announcements. A bookshelf is located next to the door.
The rogues shares Shadeclan's Northern border (or the Rogue's Southern border). North of the rogue camp, a large river is stretched to the East and West. It provides a good water source for the rogues. Fish is rare in the rogue's river, but occasionally, a school of fish swims by. East & West of their territory is just forest.

Shadeclan's camp is South of the Rogue camp.

Clan Code:

1. Elders, queens, & kits must be fed before apprentices & warriors. They can not eat until they've hunted to fed the elders unless they are sick or injured.
2. A kit must be 6 moons old before becoming an apprentice.
3. Borders must be checked daily. Challenge any trespassers.
4. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, no matter where it's from.
5. Don't kill cats in your clan
6. Apprentices can leave camp only if they're accompanied by their mentor or a warrior

Rogue Rules:

1. You must hunt before eating, unless a queen or kit. The leader or lieutenants don't keep track but when you are caught, you will be punished.
2. Kill or eliminate any clan cats.
3. All cats must follow the leader's words.
4. Everyone, even the sick or injured, must join the battle except queens, kits and if said otherwise.
5. Betrayal will result in punishment or death.
6. You may not eat during hunting.
7. Do not question the leader or lieutenants.
