"Hmm...? Oh, yeah, of course!" Scorpionpaw ran up to her mentor.

[Innocence]

Waterstep chuckled and then marched on ahead letting Shaleshard lead the way.

[Solarizing]

"Here we are!" Shaleshard announced. Her ears pricked. "Hawk! It must've flown down from SunClan! This prey is pretty advanced to catch, so Waterstep and I will get it. Scorpionpaw, you show Flamepaw some tips while we're gone. He isn't used to desert hunting... let's go, Waterstep!" she began stalking the hawk.

Scorpionpaw narrowed her eyes. Oh I'll teach him some tips... "Ready, Flamepaw?"

[Innocence]

Waterstep stalked a bit ahead and whispered "I'll circle around and lead it towards you." Then she stepped slowly around the hawk so it wouldn't see her.

[Solarizing]

Shaleshard nodded and waited for Waterstep's move.

[Innocence]

Waterstep crept forward until the hawk smelled her. Then the hawk hopped toward where Shaleshard was, Waterstep nodded to her to make her move.

[Solarizing]

Shaleshard leapt to grab the hawk, but there was a sharp pain in her back and she fell, missing the hawk.

[Innocence]

Waterstep saw Shaleshard fall and wanted to go and help her, but she had to get the hawk. But when she looked up it was gone heading back for the Sunclan. Waterstep rushed over to Shale and asked "what happened?"

[Solarizing]

"My back..." Shaleshard mewed. "I'm getting to old for this..." she muttered.

[Innocence]

Waterstep nodded and then called to Scorpionpaw "Scorpionpaw come help me, we need to get back to camp. Shale needs to see your father." Then Waterstep turned back to shale and said "I'll finsh the lesson after we get you checked out."
