"I'll be the medicine cat apprentice!" Minnowkit explained. "And yes, you will be the leader." she decided.

"Yay!" Scorpionkit chirped. "But first I have to be an apprentice and a warrior and a mentor and a deputy!"

[Shiverice]

"Yeah. Mine is easier. Let's go talk to Minnowflicker and ask her about being a deputy!" Minnie meowed.

[Solarizing]

"Okay!" Scorpionkit smiled. She and her sister walked over to Minnowflicker.
"Hello kits," Minnowflicker greeted. She was a tough looking emo gray she-cat with icy lavender eyes. For the first time, Scorpionkit noticed she didn't have a tail.

[Shiverice]

"Minnowflicker, can you tell us about how you became deputy? We wanna hear about your whole life." Minnie meowed.

[Solarizing]

"Well, as you might know Grayspirit, your father, and I were born as rogues," Minnowflicker began. "One day I was playing a game with Grayspirit and he got lost. Shaleshard was very scared, so she ran to BrackenClan to find him while Blizzardmask and I stayed in our old home, a hollow log. But your father was very brave, and wouldn't leave Grayspirit alone! He convinced me to help him find Grayspirit..." OOC: Hey Shiverice I have to go I'll finish the story later

Minnie listened eagerly.

[Solarizing]

"...and we found him, but BrackenClan was mad that we had invaded the territory. Thankfully, Batstar, Venomsplash – she was Venompaw at the time – and Sugarflower rescued us and brought us here. My mentor was... Venomsplash," It suddenly occurred to Minnowflicker that the she-cat that she competed with for deputyship was once her mentor and closest friend. But things change.... "Grayspirit's mentor was Batstar, and your father's unofficial mentors were Foxfang and Robincrest.

"One night, Blizzardmask and I went to a Gathering. Your poor father had a terrible headache, and was suffering badly. A vain cat named Blindpaw (OOC: She doesn't know he's a warrior) carelessly ignored your father's pains and requested warriorship! The heartless cat didn't have an ounce of compassion under that thick skull!!" Her sweet storytelling became a hiss as she brought up Blindheart.

"Is Blindpaw really that bad?" Scorpionkit whispered to Minnowkit.

Minnowflicker didn't stop. "And he tore off my tail–"

"That's terrible!" Scorpionkit gasped. "How could he?! The tail is the cat's way of balancing, of showing emotions! This Blindpaw sounds terrible!" Her voice was determined. "Don't worry auntie when I grow up I'll be the biggest, strongest warrior the Clans have seen and I'll make that evil Blindpaw regret ever touching your tail!"

Minnowflicker couldn't help a soft purr. These kits sure are loyal...

[Innocence]

Waterstep turned back toward the direction of the camp and said "it's sounds like a whole bunch of cats fighting." ooc: she doesn't know that the meeting is over and she's just hearing the echoes.

Minnie growled. "I'll tell StarClan to send him to the Dark Forest!" she meowed.
