Devun winced in pain "I wouldn't ever leave you" he said hoping she wouldn't notice how skinny he had gotten "I'm sorry" he licked her again

Klara nodded she saw his fur was not as far out she looked at him then put her paw to his ribs " Devin " she gasped " your so skinny and were are the pups" she said looking around she too was skinny and she was missign a patch of fur but she wasnt about to let that slwo her down

"they are fine" he said nodding "but we need to go get them" he kept his eyes closed in pain "they have a full deer and are safe in a cave" he said keeping his back leg in the air "I made sure nothing would hurt them"
