Kuro large feet pounded against the sweet scented Earth floor as he ran valiantly. The dirt kicked up from behind his paws flinging into the air. "I gotcha!" He screamed as he ganged up on a small doe that ran for it's life. You could hear the warning calls escaping the dears mouth. Kuro finally caught up and pounced on the doe. The doe let out a blood curdling scream and bucked Kuro off with thud. Kuro whimpered as he hit the ground. But he quickly stood and went after the dear once again. Launching himself on the deer for the second time, he bit into it's neck splitting it's air way passage. The doe dropped to the ground and Kuro looked at it, his heart pounding. He felt guilty that he had to kill this helpless animal, but it was the food chain's ways. Kuro grabbed a hold of the deer's pelt and began to drag it towards camp.
Juliet wandered aimlessly kicking the damp soil in front of her. Her mind began to wander, and she began to think about was Talon and the pups. She has left the pups alone in her and Talon's den. She figured they would be fine alone, it was only for a few minutes anyways. Juliet couldn't stop thinking of how much Talon and her had been seperated, she hadn't seen him in a while. It broke Juliet's heart. Then she froze in her steps and opened her mouth to speak. "Talon?" She yelled breaking the silence of the air. The name echoed, repeating the name over and over. She growled not hearing a response.
Ivy layed in her den peacefully with a large grin on her face. "Some alone time. Nobody needs healing, it's nice and quiet, but still no mate," She whispered these words to herself, then the smile quickly disappeared into her furry auburn face. Ivy's emerald green eyes faded had faded into a darker color from being in the dark for so long. They now appeared, almost, brown.
