the truth

many moons ago, the land was shared by many clans.
they shared the land and the resources that came with it,
but stayed within their respective groups. in these clans,
were rogues and outsiders.
they were ridiculed, abused, treated like dirt.
they were seen as less- lazy, soft kitties who had
tainted blood.
when the flood came, they were abandoned.
when the water dried, they were still there.
alive and alone.
they are the forgotten clan.

the camp

a large cave with smaller cracks and areas where the cats can make nests. there are no specific dens except for the leaders den and the medicine cats den. fresh kill is put in the center of the cave. most only use the cave for rest and spend the day hunting or patrolling, as the clan is often on edge about the larger clans they came from. the leaders den is in a large crack at the very back of the cave. the med cats den is to the left of the leaders. warriors sleep in a large circle close to the front of the cave in case of emergencies. apprentices (and when applicable, queens and kits) sleep in the middle of the warriors.

eclipse / leader / tags; camp, open

Eclipse looked out the opening of the camp cave, watching her clan mill about below. It was an unseasonally warm day in Leaf-bare, so most were enjoying it while it lasted. Others were working. She felt a sudden wave of pride for her clan and for herself; they had overcome.. everything. They had survived being rogues, being mistreated by their clans, the Great Flood.. and were now thriving more than they ever had. Eclipse used to often curse Starclan for putting her in the place she had been, but now, she gazed towards the sky and thanked them.

Shredclaw lay on a sunning rock, a freshly killed rabbit laying on the ground next to him. He figured the clan could wait a little while- there was plenty of kill coming in today, as the smaller animals were also trying to take in the warmth. He heaved a big sigh, yawning soon after. He didn't dare let himself fall asleep so far from camp, though. He stretched, letting his aching muscles get hit by the sun. His fur was rattled by scars, his ear even missing a piece. He had come from a fighting ring run by Twolegs, and it hadn't been a pretty life. When he found his first clan he vowed never to hurt another cat ever again. He kind of disliked his burly look; some cats were afraid of him.

starmoon stretched, trying to catch every ray of sunlight there was. the meadow gleamed as the sun shined upon the rainbow of flowers, flowers which were screaming to be taken and put in starmoon's fur.
"Alright, alright. I will take you and carry you all with me."
she began to pluck the flowers and weave them into her silver fur when she noticed shredclaw. she abandoned the flowers and padded quietly towards his rock. she noticed the scent of rabbit and began humming a song about rabbits.
"Rabbits they hop hop hop and they smell so good that I EAT THEM!"
on the last note she hopped up onto shredclaw's rock.
"Need help eating that rabbit?"

“It’s not for me,” he told her, turning over onto his back. It took him a moment to get used to baring his belly to his clan mates, but he trusted them all with his own life now.
“It’s for the clan. It’s nice and fat- we can all share some.”
