Valerie's brows furrowed as she watched Jade's tense movements, her own body causing her to develop a tensity of her own. Her paws were wet and her matted pelt gave way to the moist temperatures. The only positive thing was that this rain shower could've been considered a bath - a stressful one at most. The flickers of rain began to flood in a downpour, the loud noise of thunder sounding in the distance. Valerie twitched, the thunder scaring her as she moved closer to her sister. She drew in a breath as her sister commented on the idea of them moving to the forest, and how it would be a long journey.

"I don't know, and it probably wouldn't be too bad. Maybe we could get there once the sun is fully in the sky, if we run." she breathed, flicking her ear. "I don't care about what we'll find there, as long as this hell reign will end." she said, swallowing nervously as another crash of thunder sounded.

oneeye had listened to the tom ramble with evergrowing irritation. "enough!" he snapped, tail lashing on the camp's floor. he couldn't bother with small talk. letting out a huff, oneeye glanced over at the warrior beside him. "come on, if we find any rogues then i'll be sure to claw their whiskers off." the black-and-white tom didn't allow stormclaw to reply before bounding through the prickly barrier that separated the camp from the outside.

"we'll start over by the fallen pine tree, i bet that some rogue will be sniffing around there." oneeye mused, turning back to meet stormclaw's gaze. "we might as well catch anything we see on the way too." with that, the tom brushed back a clump of sparse nettle, disappearing from stormclaw's direct point of view.

the tom looked up in surprise at yarrowgaze's words. it was rare for him to see her by herself, as it seemed that fernkit wasn't nearby. but he shrugged, what did he know about kits? "mornin', yarrowgaze." beetlewhisker mewed in greeting, tail waving happily behind him. "how are you? and fernkit?" he asked with a nod towards the kit's small frame near the tree log. "i hope he isn't causing too much trouble." he mused with a gentle purr.

thistlepaw's gaze snapped up to focus on the tabby who'd appeared in front of her. "oh-" she paused, taking him brindlepaw's cheery attitude and forced herself not to wince. "i'm okay." her head swiveled to take in her surroundings at the tom's words. "it is! i didn't even notice.." trailing off, thistlepaw eyed the slightly pitiful fresh-kill pile before turning back to her company. "i'm, uh..." she nodded to the prey, unsure if she should invite the tom to share a piece with her or not.

indentation a slight breeze made its way through dovesong's coat as she sat on the edge of camp, encouraging her to get to her feet. she had been staring at the fresh kill pile for a while, but had not wanted to go over there and be coaxed into small talk. she took a look around to see if the coast was clear enough, grabbed a small vole, and settled back in to her spot at the edge of camp.

dovesong's eyes followed oneeye and her brother until they had left camp- they seemed to be going on their own little patrol, and she had wondered if any other patrols had been organized for the rest of the day.

indentation stormclaw winced at oneeye, backing away from the tom nervously. it only took a moment for him to go back to his cheerful self, however, and a smile was soon on his face once again, his tail high in the air. "yes! of course! i'll follow your lead!" stormclaw meowed excitably, bounding after oneeye.

padding after the leader, stormclaw nodded and took in every word oneeye said thoughtfully. the warrior sniffed around, scanning for any scent of a non-clan cat or any signs of prey nearby. he stayed close to oneeye without keeping him in view, feeling as if the other tom might want a bit of space. stormclaw hadn't smelled anything yet- then again, he wasn't too good of a tracker. he turned to talk to oneeye, but closed his mouth before anything left it. perhaps it would be better to stay quiet.

Whitedoe padded out of the warriors den, her paws feeling heavy from just awaking from her slumber. She let out a loud yawn and licked down the fur on her arm that had become messy from sleeping on it. Whitedoe padded to the fresh kill pile and looked at the prey. I should pick out something small so elders can have good prey left for them. She picked out a thin sparrow and placed it on the ground in front of her and took a small bite.

Hazestrike lay in his nest, sleeping quietly. His body keeps him asleep much longer than it used to because of his increasing age. He had been told by a couple cats that he is free to join the elder's den when he wishes. However, he still had the heart and strength of a warrior. He would fight for his clanmates until his last breath. Hazestrike is still as fierce as any other warrior.

Snowrush felt at ease in the camp as more cats awoke and were going about their day. Not much was exactly happening but that's what made it calming. He turned as Whitedoe picked a sparrow from the pile which was beginning to shrink 'I should go hunting soon' he thought to himself. Looking over at Whitedoe who had started eating he smiled, "morning whitedoe, nice day isn't it?" he asked.
