The small fluffy warrior padded out of the mouth of the warriors den with inquisitive smile and eyes bright with curiosity, engulfed in excitement to start his day. Stretching out his paws in front of him and rolling out a squeaky yawn, flickering his tail as his face neared the ground at the peak of his yawn. The tabby noticed his fellow clanmates, Heronblink and Blizzardpaw eating a quick gobble of fresh-kill together and decided to greet his companions. Hopping into a excited sprint towards his friends before letting out a playful meow, " Ready to start your day?" a friendly purr escaped from him as he sat down and coiled his tail around his paws.

The apprentice held herself in tight yet relaxed ball at the mouth of the apprentice's den, taking in the scents of the morning air and her clanmates. Tracing her eyes upon wandering clanmates, entering camp and walking back and forth to the fresh-kill pile. The calico tucked her paws underneath her fur and wrapped her tail around her before letting out a large sigh. Everything was so quiet and simple, there was no threats, no lack of fresh-kill or strong warriors. No hurry for her to be assigned to a mentor but none the less, she couldn't wait to begin her training and felt as if every minute laying and enjoying this morning was wasted valuable training time.

Heronblink nodded "... And despite being half asleep I hadn't heard any talk of a patrol either" he added, dipping his head to start on the meal and calm the monster trying to claw out of his stomach.
HeronBlink glanced up as he saw fast paws coming his way, lifting his head from his meal. " 'Morning Beetlenose, cheery as ever I see" heronblink chuckled "Blizzardpaw and I were just talking about the first patrol of the day, maybe after we've both eaten something you wanted to join us?" He queried

Blizzardpaw perked her ears at Bettlenose, her tail flicked happily at the cheery tom.
"The more the merry!" She melted happily and then she takes a quick bite of her mouse.
"Where shall we patrol though?" She shifts her gaze between the two warriors, letting the details up to them.

Flashing a happy grin when seeing his greeting had accepted him into a patrol, " Maybe towards our borders? freshen them up a lil bit." Already standing up and anxious to get going,"We could even ask Heathersong if she would like us to fetch any herbs."

Cherrywind nodded and smiled. “That’s good, that means no one is trying to do anything around our borders.” She looked around the camp and blinked owlishly. She looked down as Ashstar graciously offered her the rest if his food, probably understanding how empty her stomach was. “Ahh, thank you. I needed this.” She almost instantly bit into the food, but she perked her ears towards Blizzardpaw, Heronblink and Beetlenose first to hear what they were going on about. As she finished the food, she stood up and stretched gracefully. Well, mostly. She flicked her tail at Ashstar and smiled while walking over to them. “Are you guys talking about where to patrol?” She sat down and looked at all of them separately. If you need a place to patrol, we need a patrol at Ottershaw. We haven’t patrolled there in a fair while and I’m starting to smell fox.” She looked down and hoped she wasn’t intruding on their conversation.

"That's a great idea Bettlenose." She beamed at the tom then took a couple more quick bites of her mouse to finish it. After a quick lick around her muzzle she turned her attention to the approaching deputy, Cherrywind.
"Fox? I don't think I have seen a fox before, let alone smelled one." Her eyes became round like the moon as she shuffles her paws into the dirt beneath them.

“That’s okay, I don’t expect an apprentice to handle a fox. They are quite dangerous.” She reassured Blizzardpaw and gave her a warm smile. “And Beetlenose,” she turned her attention to the tom. “That’s a great idea. I’m sure Heathersong would lend you some herbs.” She nodded and wrapped her tail around her paws messily. As she heard a distant yowl of a fox, she reminded the group about the lake they should patrol. “Remember, I think it’d be good to patrol Ottershaw. We need a patrol there.” She stood up and headed to Ashstar. “Ashstar!” She called out, her voice filled with power and worry. “I’ve heard a fox. It didn’t sound too close to the border, but we don’t need another fox in the camp. Do you mind if I take a quick look to make sure it’s not too close?” She looked at the leader. She was ready and waiting for his order.

Heronblink turned to Blizzardpaw, "dont worry, you'll know the smell if you find it, only crowfood is that disgusting" he joked, making a funny face. He turned back to the group "Ottershaw it is!" HeronBlink purred, glad to be helpful for his clan despite the warning of fox near our territory, "Has anyone seen heathersong this morning? If we are going to keep a nose out for herbs we are going to need to know which ones she is hoping for"

Beetlenose listened intently on his deputy's commands and taking them in carefully, before blizzardpaw's remark interrupted his thoughts. "Pffff Blizzardpaw! Are you scared of a small fox? Don't worry, I'll bop him right in the face and he won't ever step foot in Ivyclan's territory again!!" He chuckled trying his best to encourage the apprentice to do some fox hunting. A Yowl interrupted the casual banter between the cats and Cherrywind's expression seemed to drop instantly. Noticing the quick change of tone in the deputy's voice as she frantically drifted out of reach. "Heronblink? Ready to show the fox we mean business?" dropping into a playful pounce and rolling his mouth into a snarl.

Blizzardpaw smiles up at Cherrywind, thankful of her words then looks back at Heronblink, laughing at his funny face.
"I'll take your word for it. And I'm not scared of no Fox!! " She beamed at Bettlenose, but also thankful for help lighten the mood with his playful banter.
"As for Heathersong... Maybe in the medicine cat den?" She turns to look at the den, but hasn't seen any movement inside.
