- @open, Near soulpaw
After a few quick laps over his muzzle Heronblink finally seemed to stop the bleeding, it still ached a little, and he was sure if he started breathing hard, or if he got hid in the nose again (for whatever reasons) it would start up again. Heronblink looked back to his robin, plucking it from the ground and heading farther away from the slightly-bloodied area, the tomcat buried the robin and continued his search for prey. Over time he caught piece by piece; he hadn't made many catches, the foxes from earlier made sure the prey was on their toes, but he still managed to catch a plump vole, and a scrawny squirrel- though it was debating if the squirrel would classify as a meal.
Heronblink continued his trek, eyes scanning the forest and distant fields looking for his next possible catch. But instead of prey his eyes landed on what seemed to be a slinking shadow. Heronblink parted his mouth taking in the air, but it was no use, he was either too far away or too far upwind to be able to see if the shadow was friend or foe. heronblink hadn't thought there was another cat deciding to take a walk this far from camp, but who knows the clan is large we cant keep track of everybody.
Heronblink sized up the cat, his stance changing into a stalking motion. The stranger couldn't be that old, they seemed small, possibly and apprentice? He ran through his head on who in the clan is a black apprentice-sized cat but couldn't think of any names whatsoever, of any cats actually, he needed to try better to learn the names of his clan. Heronblink sighed, stalking closer.
Tldr: Heornblink spots soulpaw from afar but doesnt remember soulpaw is in the clan/cant recognize soulpaw from that far away
