Cherrywind nodded and smiled. “It is nice to share feelings with someone important to you, isn’t it?” She looked down and then back at the prey in the pile. “That’s good! It’s helpful to spend time to yourself. Was there anything around the borders that peaked your attention?” She licked her chest fur down and replied to his question in an joyful tone. “Nope, nothing happened at all. It was really boring when you weren’t here to be completely honest...” she looked at him with a cheery smile. Her stomach was now more clearly empty and she was going to get food, but she wanted to finished talking to Ashstar.

HeronBlink sat at the edge of the clan clearing, his head nodding softly under the broken sunlight of the trees above. He dozed in and out of daydreaming, the warm rays on his pelt only encouraging him to flop on his side and fall asleep. The only thing preventing HeronBlink from doing so, is the kneading feeling in his stomach telling him he needed to eat. But the prey pile was mountains away and the sunlight seemed fleeting, so enjoying it while it was here seemed like the best thing to do. It was calming, for this short minute, to just sit here and do nothing.

Blizzardpaw slowly stumbled out of the Apprentice Den and blink her shappire blue eyes against the light. After a moment she scanned the camp, taking note how unusually quite it was compared to normal. In the distance she could see Cherrywind and Ashstar talking to each other by the old tree stump. Her dark grey ears twitching towards the camp entrance, hearing Warriors coming back home. Feeling the atmosphere lighting up, she shook out her white fur and began grooming herself with slow laps at her fur.

Soon HeronBlink was left to the shade, the sun had moved its path ever so slightly and sent a shiver through his pelt. HeronBlink shifted his paws and bowed into a yawn, blinking his eyes open and squinting at the camp. Most cats had left it seemed, so the camp looked emptier then before when he had decided died to sit here. HeronBlink shook out his pelt and stood up, his belly reminding him once more that he needed to eat, but he was already on his way to the freshkill pile.
Heronblink hooked his claw into a small mouse that had been resting on the top, I'll go hunting after I get some energy back he thought to himself.

Ashstar nodded in agreement. "Yes, definitely. I didn't see anything out of place on my walk, though." he replied, taking one more bite of his meal before scooting it over to Cherrywind, offering her the rest. He let out a chuckle. "Hah, well! I guess that has to change, then; I don't want this place getting dull if I get too busy." He thought over his clanmates for a moment, flicking his ear as he pondered over anything that he could think of to, well, probably make clan life a bit more interesting while there was peace.

After Blizzardpaw had finished grooming herself she let her feet carried her off to the fresh kill pile. She notice Heronblink, a mouse hooked to his claws, nerby.
"Hi Heronblink. What have you been up to today?" She tilts her head for the moment then cast her eyes to the fresh kill pile.

HeronBlink almost jumped as a fluffy white apprentice stepped up beside him, "Oh hi Blizzardpaw!" He responded cheerily, pausing his action to hold the mouse his his mouth as he realized he needed to speak. "The sun is still new, so I havent done much yet. Just say in the sun like a kittypet" he chuckled, watching her scan the freshkill pile "how about yourself?" He responded.

She finally found a mouse in the pile and pulled it out and set it aside for a moment, laying her eyes back onto Heronblink. A small purr rumbled in her throat in amusement at his kittypet comment.
"I actually just woken up myself. But you must have been up a bit earlier to be lazing I'm the sun already." She curls her fluffy tail around her paws.

"I havent been up that long, only long enough for the sun to take away my warmth" Heronblink chuckled "but I should probably do something soon, dont want to be accused of being lazy!" He stood and picked up his mouse, padding back to the edge of camp, expecting Blizzardpaw to follow; eating in the middle of camp wasnt as nice as the sunny spots on the edges of the camp.

Blizzardpaw grabbed her mouse and follows Heronblink. Once making it to the edge of camp to settles down, her mouse gripped between her small paws.
"I'm sure there is plenty to do around here. Far as I know there hasn't been an hunting or a portal party set out yet."
