Doepaw fluffed up as soon as he started to see the sleek black fur of Sootstar walking start towards him. "U-Uh Heellloo, Sootstar" he stuttered while forcing himself to soothe his fur. He only fluffed when he was anxious and this was no exception. He admired the strong leader for taking after a mess like Driftstar.

Goldeneye bowed her head to the leader. "How are you feeling, Creamflower? I know I feel like a overstuffed all the time! I just want to be able to stare these kits in the face and know it was worth it" she purred to herself. She thought about raising her kits all by herself but then she remembered she had Creamflower to support her as much as she would support her.

Russetnose looked towards the apprentice den to see Sootstar walking over. "Oh, you're right. Hm, Since there are not many apprentices left. It should be fine with us two. I should be able to hold off rogues if we get attacked and I know you are pretty fast at getting help" he smiled to her. The tom was very proud to have her as an apprentice.

Blackfang nodded to Roseflames. "It doesn't matter who we take as long as we are back in time for the hunting patrol" she shoved past the she-cat to go look for Badgerfoot. She caught the scent of the warrior near the den. The black she-cat sped her pace toward the warrior den. "Good morning, Blackbriar and Badgerfoot. Would you like to join us on dawn patrol, Badgerfoot?" she asked as nice as she could without sounding rushed.

"Hello Doepaw, Tealpaw. How are you this morning?" Sootstar purrs softly as he sat down in front of the two apprentices. He could see how anxious Doepaw was and honestly Sootstar felt the same as well. He was going go be the first Apprentice he would turn into a Warrior hopefully by tonight. But before that, he just hopes this assessment goes well and without any problems from the rogues hanging around.

Creamflower hears Goldeneye asking her a question and nods, smiling. "So far so good!" she answered. "I cant wait to see my kits soon! Ill bet they will be full of potential to be the best they can be in DriftClan!" She closes her eyes as she can imagine what life will be like for her kits, but then she remembers the secret and sighs. I know Goldeneye will accept them for who they are. she thought. But what about the rest of the Clan? I do worry about that, even though they deserve to know eventually. I just hope me and my kits wont be hated for it.

She heard a voice and took a defensive stance. But after a second look, the voice belonged to a smaller cat. With her crew a cat this size would be a deckpaw but she didn't know what land cats this size would be called. This cat seemed to be worried about her wounds. Normally she would say she was fine but sometimes even pirate cats had to sallow their pride. "I seem to have a small infection."

He was struggling with more nightmares last night, unable to rid himself of the memory of Gingerheart just yet. No matter how hard he tries, she still lingers in his mind. Sighing heavily, Blackstreak lifts himself out of his bedding and pads out of the warriors' den. I'm probably too late for patrols, he thinks to himself and glances around the clearing.

With her nose slightly wrinkled, she glanced at the palm tree leaves and murmured, "Yeah, I can tell. Do you mind if I take a look?" Without an answer from the she-cat, Nettlepaw unsheathed one of her claws and gently lifted a leaf with it to take a peek. "Oh Starclan, it's definitely infected," she sighed and flicked her tail-tip. "Why don't you come into the medicine cat den with me?"

She wondered if following this little cat was a good idea but she seemed to know about healing so she nodded and got up to follow the cat. She could tell there were other cats and she hoped that they wouldn't mind a pirate cat being healed by this little cat.

He won't stay out too long with Doepaw, but just enough to see if he's ready for the Warrior's duties.
