Sootstar takes another bite of the squirrel in front of him, taking a moment to think about rogues. After a moment he swallows and licks around his muzzles."I like to think it has calm down a little. Even though they attacked us by surprised, we still took down a few of them. But since they took over most of our territory, they still control the situation. Russetnose and I are planning to take it back though, starting with our hunting grounds."He mewed, confident in himself. He and Russetnose will have to figure out the details more later, but he wants to be able to have Doepaw a warrior first before any of this can happen. Having the extra paws would help and lessen the burden of the other a warriors just a little.But before any of that he needed to fine Slateseer and talk to him about Doepaw's assessment.

Creamflower listens to what Sootstar had to say to answer Goldeneye's question and smiles, happy to hear the leader has his hopes up. "Thats good to hear!" she said. "Its a shame that they took some of our territory after the attack, but it will be great to have it back!"

Goldeneye sat in silence for a moment. "Well, I pray to Starclan that soon, we will have some of it reclaimed by the time these kits are born or I will show some of those rogues the wrath of an angry queen" her eyes filled with passion as she thought about the battle. The she-cat started to groom furiously. Goldeneye's softened when she started to groom her large belly. She wanted to make sure these kits grow up in the territory she roamed and loved living in.

Under a colorful tree sat a wound tortie cat with a beautiful dappled coat with ugly looking slash marks marring her fur. She was doing her best to keep the infection from getting worse by using dried seaweed and palm leaves. A frigatebird feather was behind one ear. She was a hardy sea cat evident by some scars and a burn/brand mark on right front leg. But she knew that infection was bad and was trying her best to stop it from getting worse. She had been on this land for half a moon since the ocean brought her here.

Sootstar chuckles at Goldeneye, enjoying her passion and ferocity. He finsihed his Squirrel and sighs, glad his hunger subsided for now.
"Well, it was nice talking to you two, but if you excuse me, I need to have a word with Doepaw. With the lost of his Mentor, Palefur, I have to plan his assessment. It's about time he can become a Warrior I do believe." Sootstar stood and took a moment to stretch and shake out his sleek black fur. He waves his tail in goodbye as he heads to the Apprentice Den.

Creamflower watches as Sootstar gets up to leave after mentioning Doepaw's assessment, hoping the apprentice will pass and become a warrior. "Very well!" she said. "I wish him luck!" She takes another bite of her fish, savoring the delicious taste.

He was struggling with more nightmares last night, unable to rid himself of the memory of Gingerheart just yet. No matter how hard he tries, she still lingers in his mind. Sighing heavily, Blackstreak lifts himself out of his bedding and pads out of the warriors' den. I'm probably too late for patrols, he thinks to himself and glances around the clearing.

She padded out of the medicine cat den, muttering the list of herbs she needed to get under her breath. Nettlepaw's attention was drawn away from the herbs for a moment when she spotted Swift-tooth sitting under a tree and approached her, offering a small smile. "Good morning. How are your wounds doing?" she asked politely.

She heard a voice and took a defensive stance. But after a second look, the voice belonged to a smaller cat. With her crew a cat this size would be a deckpaw but she didn't know what land cats this size would be called. This cat seemed to be worried about her wounds. Normally she would say she was fine but sometimes even pirate cats had to sallow their pride. "I seem to have a small infection."
