At the mention of ticks, Silverkit shuddered, rolling her eyes when Nightpaw mentioned there being plenty to do. "Yeah, right!" She complained, still backing away from the entrance. Nightpaw then suggested that Silverkit help her practice some of her moves, and to that she frowned. "But I haven't begun training yet... I don't know anything." How could she possibly help Nightpaw prepare for an assessment when she hadn't even been apprenticed yet? Being apprenticed seemed so far off, though she supposed that Nightpaw preparing for her assessment meant that she was very close to becoming a warrior. Maybe she'd become a warrior and become her mentor too! That would be cool, Silverkit was sure, but she knew it was unlikely.

"So you dont know anything yet you were about to leave camp?" She questioned, tilting her head slightly with a knowing look."Dont you think that could have been dangerous?"She asked.
Nightpaw sat and watched the kit for a second before speaking again. "You can help me without knowing much, and in return Ill teach you a bit so you can get a head start on training. Copperlily says there isnt a better training method than teaching afterall." She mused, sending a look towards the medicine den. "I just need you to try and sneak up on me is all." She mused, looking down at Silverkit again.

"Well thats too bad." He growled down at the kit. "There are too many dangers that could come and get you if you arent with Goldeneye and your Litter-mates." The white and tabby tom's tail lashed behind him in annoyance. "Be happy you have a den to return to where they are waiting for you." He added, sending a glare in the direction of Swifttooth as she passed. "No matter how much you hate it, its for your own good." He then bent down to pick the kit up by the scruff, ot having the patience to continue to argue.

Silverkit hadn't exactly thought her plan through. Nightpaw had a point, it was dangerous... but surviving a dangerous situation was a way for the Clan to see she was brave... right? She brushed it off, and Nightpaw presented her with an opportunity that she couldn't refuse. A wide grin split her face as she nodded, enthusiasm bubbling around her. "Okay!!" She could sneak up on her easy peasy! She wriggled as she bounded off, away from the exit to camp so that they could practice where they had more room. "Jus' let me know when you're ready!" She called out, ready to start the exercise whenever the apprentice was ready. In retrospect, asking somecat you're supposed to sneak up on if they are ready for you to sneak up on them probably wasn't the best idea, but she was a kit and this was a training exercise, a game.

"Moring Swifttooth. How are you this morning? He smiles at her before movement caught his eyes. He turn his head and watch as Thrushcry carried Amberkit back into the Nursery. He already knew that Amberkit was bound for trouble as he gets older and be very adventurous.

Fadekit titls his head, his dark blue eyes gazing at his brother Cedarkit. He swipes a tongue around his maw before whispering. "Watching Amberkit getting in trouble I guess. He left the den and it looks like Thrushcry is carrying him back. I tried to stop him but... I couldn't get the words out."He shrugs, but also silently cursed his quiet like nature. Sometimes he wonders if his name was suppose to represent how quiet he his instead of his faded marking on his pelt.

Still curled up in her nest, Copperlily sighed. Various noises in the camp had woken her up and she knew that her day had begun. Choosing to ignore that fact, the soft brown cat flicked her tail over her paws as she closed her eyes and acted as if she were asleep once more.

Stepping out of the warriors den, Dewpelt stretched in the morning light. She looked up at the sky to watch clouds quickly scuttling across the sky. She glanced around the clearing to see if her apprentice was out and about. Catching a glimpse of black and white fur, she saw Nightpaw playing with Silverkit. Nightpaw had worked hard this past moon and she knew that her warrior assessment should be soon and she would bring it up with Sootstar as soon as she could. Changing her attention to scan for the leader, she found him talking to Swifttooth. Dewpelt didn't talk to the new cat very much but she seemed trustworthy from what she could tell.

Her eyes looking over to her clanmates, mostly to the kits, which was being born moon ago, all of them were more energetic than back then. Having kits into the clan was always good, but she has noticed some stress and worry to her fellow clanmates' eyes too, more than before, especially the highest ranks.

She waked up earlier than her three littermates, but either Cedarkit and Fadedkit beat her by getting out of the nest earlier, she was too lazy to do actually anything. Thought when she started to feel bored, she thought it was time to stood up and go to something useful, which was not much as she was only a kit. Entering the nursery entrance she walked to her two brothers "hello Fadedcedar or Cedarfaded...your future names" she meowed laughing looking at them "so what are you do doing?" she asked.

Stalking, the golden calico carefully crawled forward toward a small group of birds, preparing to hunt some breakfast for herself, flicking her ears from time to time just to make sure there were no other cats nearby wanting the same prey as she did. Turing the moon she was meet some rogues here and there, one of them was the large tom Axel. When she was close enought she pounced toward the birds, quickly hitting one of the bird down to the ground and killed it.

He let out a yowl of pain and woke up startled after a paw managed to land on his tail. After a few moments to regain composure, Palepaw glanced up at his "attacker" and smirked. It was only Tealpaw, a slightly younger apprentice with brown and white fur. "It's okay, Tealpaw... unless you meant to do that," he teased and stood up, his fluffy tail curling over his back.

She pushed her busy and excited thoughts away, deciding that she was ready to start the day. Nettlepaw glanced over at her mentor when she thought she saw her shift, but her eyes were still closed and her breathing was still slow. She sighed softly and headed out of the den, wondering what Nightpaw was up to. Nettlepaw spotted the other apprentice by the exit to camp and watched as she played with Silverkit. A swell in her heart started up, and she couldn't help but smile at the two interacting. Before anyone could catch her looking, Nettlepaw wiped the smile from her maw and glanced around for other cats. She spotted Dewpelt and padded over, purring, "Good morning, Dewpelt! How are you?"

"I don't see any dangers in camp! Warriors are supposed to protect us," he argued. Amberkit was too young to understand that some cats lost other cats and didn't necessarily have a family, so when the older tom talked about having someone to return to he rolled his eyes. Amberkit twisted and turned when Thrushcry picked him up, but he was unable to slip away.

He smiled at his brother, knowing that the two were very alike and much unlike some of the other kits. "That's okay, Thrushcry caught him at least," Cedarkit purred to comfort the bengal kit and snuggled up against him. After a moon, it turned out that he and Fadekit were similar in nature. The two tended to be very quiet and out of the way while their sisters took the spotlight. At the thought, Cedarkit glanced over at them and saw that they were still asleep for the moment along with Creamflower. Apparently he didn't make a proper headcount though, for Dreamkit padded in and teased them for being together. "We were watching Amberkit," Cedarkit replied and nodded his head in the direction of the kit being carried back.

Creamflower wakes up to hear quiet voices and immediately recognizes the voices of her kits, Fadekit, Dreamkit, and Cedarkit to be exact. She has a very sensitive sense of hearing so she can hear things most cats cant hear, including a whispered conversation between cats. Yawning, she raises her head so she can see her kits, seeing as Mosskit is the only kit still fast asleep. "Good morning my kits!" she said softly and warmly. "What are you three talking about? Something interesting?"
