She heard a voice and looked over to see the queen who just had kits. After getting asked if she could help carry the kits she nodded her head and said "Sure, I can help." She came over and as carefully as she could, picked up a kit. She didn't have too much experience picking up kits but she'd seen other queens do it so, she was sure she did it right.

Creamflower smiles as Goldeneye asked Dewpelt and a she-cat she has never seen before to help carry the kits, happy to be able to relate to the she-cat's joy. She grabs Mothkit and waits for the other two to grab the other two kits, ready to help carry the kits to the nursery.

Copperlily gently looked over the kits to make sure they were healthy. Stepping back and gathering leftover herbs, she smiled faintly. "Congratulations Goldeneye. Don't feel rushed to move, Sootstar can wait for his den." As she exited the den, she noticed Sootstar laying in the center of camp. "If you stay there too long, someone will think you're a rock and sit on you." she commented sarcastically, almost as if checking up on him in her own way. She went back to the medicine den with a warmth in her eyes that told the others that all was well. The medicine cat was sharp and sassy, but she secretly did have a soft spot for kits.

Hearing Goldeneye call her name, Dewpelt leaped to her paws and skirted around Sootstar and Russetnose- not without stealing a glance at the black tom as she passed. With a smile she nodded and looked down at the kits when she entered the leader's den. "They're beautiful. You sure are a lucky cat Goldeneye, and you will be too Creamflower..." she commented, almost with a wistful hint to her voice. Nuzzling one of the remaining kits gently, she picked them up. Breathing in the soft, milky scent of their fur, she felt calmed and warmed by the new family. She moved out of the way so that Goldeneye could grab the last one before going to the nursery.

Sootstar sat up and gave a small shake of his pelt before licking a paw and rubbing it over his torn ear.
"Once the others come back to camp... I will start a clan meeting. There is alot to discuss about and everyone needs to be informed. We need to start rotating Patrols so that we make sure there are Warriors in the camp at all times."He turns his attention to a group of She cats that were helping Goldeneye move her kits into the nursery. Sootstar couldn't help but smile at the sight of them. He had always loved kits and wish for his own someday.
"Once that is settle... then we talk about taking back our territory from the band of rogues."

Goldeneye purred as her fellow clanmates swarmed Sootstar's den to grab her kits. "Thank you, Dewpelt. I appreciate that. I mean I see the way you look at Sootstar so maybe there will be kits in your future too" she chuckled at the younger she-cat. She flicked her tail for them to follow her to the nursery. The golden she-cat placed Amberkit in the nearest fluffy moss nest. "I can't imagine how small and helpless they are at this age. I can already tell that they are going to be wild ones" she meowed happily to them. She lightly pushed the kits into her belly to let them nurse when her clanmates let them down.

Russetnose stopped grooming his fur. "Oh okay then. Well it seems to be getting later in the day and I haven't seen dawn patrol back so I will go search for them" he mewed to Sootstar. The deputy left quite hastily. He started to sniff at the ground. There was a faint scent of the patrol leading into the forest deeper. "Weird, it seems Roseflames's scent separated from everyone elses" Russetnose's scenting skills were weak due to an incident that happened with Driftstar so he completely overlooked at the fact that Roseflames's scent was strongest leading back to camp. He took a turn to follow her trail instead to make sure she was alright. As the tabby tom neared closer to the twoleg place, which he thought it was strange she went this way, he saw her. A calico she-cat. His green eyes shined with interest in this she-cat. He treaded lightly as he ventured further into the twoleg place. Russetnose could see the kittypet better now that he was closer and he nearly froze. "G-Gingerstorm..?" something caught his throat as he spoke to her. He had never felt such a guilt in his life until he looked into her searing amber eyes.

She followed the Queen into the nursery and before putting the kit down she sat then after putting the kit down she tried her best to keep the kit warm by gently wrapping her tail around it.

As she set down the kit, Dewpelt's fur burned at Goldeneye's comment. Glancing at her paws, she managed to choke out a reply. "Oh um I don't know about that... He probably doesn't or wouldn't see me in any other way than just another clanmate. Besides, he has plenty of more important things to do than settle down with someone..." Her voice faded as she finished what she was saying. Glancing out of the entrance of the nursery, she could still see the black shape of Sootstar in the center of camp. With a sigh, and a small smile, she watched him for a moment before turning back to the queens and Swifttooth. "Even if I did have the slightest chance when things calm down, I can barely even speak to him. Let alone tell him how I feel... Ah I'm sorry, you guys don't need to be worrying about my internal conflicts," she added, cutting herself off. Flicking her tail over her paws and giving the fur on her chest a lick where the kit that she carried had ruffled it, she sat and watched the tiny kits for a moment before turning her gaze back to the clearing.

Ember had glared off into the direction she thought the cat had been in for a few minutes before deciding the cat was no threat and likely no longer there. She turned her head back towards her own yard. It was a decent sized yard enclosed in a tall wooden fence meant to keep in previous dogs and two-leg kits. She looked towards the currently empty two-leg home, a cat flap allowing her free access in and out while her two-leg was gone for the day. She could tell by the dull ache in her stomach that it wouldn't be too long before the two-leg returned and refilled her empty bowls. It was nice always knowing she could eat her fill and never worrying about going hungry. It had taken her a long time to accept the kittypet chow but she now eagerly looked forward to her meals.
She looked from the house towards the kittypet door and then back out into the forest line. She glared in the direction she had been looking in before- only to get a surprise.
Her amber eyes widened in shock at a brown tabby tom now standing at the forest line between herself and the forest. Her eyes showed her surprise, focusing only on the tom as he continued to move closer. Her breath stopped and she felt a dull ache in her chest as she watched him. The tom had an oddly familiar appearance, though he looked older than the last time she had seen his features. How many moons had it been since she had last seen him? She continued to stare, shocked into silence as his eyes met hers and he spoke. Instantly she recognized the voice and knew who stood before her. It was Russetpaw, older and surely a warrior by now, standing in front of her. With his voice came an expression of recognition and then in another second a look of utter anger and hatred. Her ears flattened against her skull and her fur bristled as she hissed at the tom. "That is not my name." She growled, arching her back as she glared down at the tom, the dull ache in her chest now feeling like a tight pressure. She began to recall the last time she had seen the tom and a wave of anger rushed over her. Why was he here? What did he want? These questions filled her head as she dug her claws into the fence. She had not seen a Driftclan cat since her exile and nor had they seen her. Her once beautiful coat was now littered with scars and her tail was broken and bent, far from her youthful and healthy appearance the last time she had seen him. She felt embarrassed to be seen but that feeling was quickly replaced with anger. It was the clan's fault after all. So what if she was no longer beautiful, that meant nothing to her anymore.
Especially not for her old dear friend, Russetpaw.

Russetnose stopped in his tracks as he watched her turn around. His eyes softened when he saw what all these moons had done to her. He watched as her tail lashed back and forth with anger. "How could I forget someone like you..?" his words trailed off. "You have every right to be angry. I know but please hear me out. I want you to know how I feel and what I have been doing every since they exiled you" he stared at her with his green eyes unwavering to show he meant no harm to the she-cat. "Driftstar is dead but that doesn't mean his past actions aren't still haunting us. It just means his actions finally got consequences. Gingers-" he paused at saying her name again. He was terrified of chasing her away. 'I have finally found you. After moons and moons of searching' he wanted to saw those words but something stopped him. He looked across to see if a monster was coming before crossing the monster path. The tabby tom stopped right before her place wary of what she might say or do to him if he stepped any closer.

Goldeneye lightly placed her tail on Dewpelt's paw. "Sometimes, you should make a move first and see how things go. Toms can confusing creatures you see. Especially that Sootstar" she chuckled to her. She watched the she-cay many times before taking glances at the older leader. "Maybe you two can go take a walk? I know he might be under a lot of stress with what's going on" she whispered to the younger she-cat.

With a small smile and a faint glimmer of hope, Dewpelt stood and faced Goldeneye. "Thank you, maybe I'll have a report to give later so that you aren't completely bored with just kits and Creamflower." she said playfully, not meaning any harm towards her kits or to Creamflower. And with that, she padded out of the nursery and into the clearing. Quickly smoothing down her fur, she started walking over to Sootstar, who was still sitting where Russetnose had left him. Confidence fading with each step that the grey warrior took, she knew that she had to say something and fast. "Is everything alright? Russetnose sure left in a hurry..." she started, her voice somewhat quieter than normal and fading as she ended her question. She sat down after she spoke, turning a part of her attention to smoothing down the fur on her chest and shoulders so it would give her something to do.
