Faith simply stepped out of the way of the leaf and turned to the Espeon, going silent. Suddenly she wanted to escape, "Leaf!" She said jumping away. She tried to fake being a regular pokemon but the Espeon seemed to have already figured that out. ~Maybe they'd think they just heard me in their head..~ Her reddish-brown eyes were close enough to a regular Leafeon's, right? Of course she could just pretend she was shiny, there's hardly any difference. She started to walk towards the Espeon, wide eyes and a curious grin. "Leafeon.." She said slowly, curling her tail.

As she noticed the leafeon stepping closer towards the espeon, Artana floated even higher into the air, out of reach from any of the pokemon. Hopefully, they fought, it would be a good distraction after all if she needed to getaway. Ignoring the espeon's question, she floated around the group, wondering what the chances are that every pokemon here is a pokeshifter. Though it was quite unlikely, all the signs were pointing to the answer is that they all were pokeshifters. It would be better if something interesting happened though,

Max simply sighed and walked off.
"Why can't I learn anything about this?"

marot looked to the side at the miltank. he didn't know exactly what was distressing him, but he wanted to help, if he was okay with it. but, for now, he would have to deal with this leafeon.
"i heard you speak human language, you know. you don't have to pretend like you can't." the espeon said, maintaining a patient tone. he wasn't annoyed with her; he understood if the leafeon needed to hide her identity around pokemon that were strangers. he lowered his tail, signifying that he was not hostile.

Max simply shifted into his human form and walked off, catching the attention of some people.(the main villains will be anti pokeshift or something, maybe scientists who want the answer too?)
