the tabby tom didn't want to stray too far from the camp, since many cats were out of camp and leaving the remaining cats vulnerable made stormstar uneasy. so he decided they would just go to the shore, where the island they called home was still visible. "let's go then." the tom said kindly, flicking his tail as he swiftly lead littlepaw towards the log that they used to cross from the island to the land. he nimbly jumped up, unsheathing his claws for a better grip as they crossed the fallen tree. his ears swiveled back, making sure littlepaw had made it up and was crossing safely.

"of course i want to hunt!" the molly said enthusiastically, her tail lashing with anticipation as she followed kestralstep closely. she yearned for a chance to show him how much she was improving. typically her biggest difficulties were being quiet and watching where she stepped as well as being conscience of the direction of the wind. she was muscular and generally athletic, but she had to be careful to not get ahead of herself and break her stealthiness. frogpaw dipped her head in recognition to the other apprentices, but her focus was on the hunt.

"good morning, we're going to work on your hunting form today." darkleaf said to fawnpaw. training the apprentices to be good hunters was especially important right now, while the clan was struggling with the intense weather. everybody needed to be doing their part. the fluffy tom followed closely to the patrol, scenting the air for prey and intruders.

The door finally opened and he rushed out, heading for the woods and the path that would lead down to the loch. He actually knew Suki, she'd been his neighbor as a young one, but he had no idea now that she was living with the cats that had made a territory down there. He wasn't thinking of her now, anyhow. He purred softly as he trotted down the path now, coming upon the territory then finding a tom (Shade) there. "Who are you?" he mewed, licking a paw. (XP thanks)

She made the queen a smile, then took the mice and made her way back to the medicine cats den, her eyes looking at Kestrelstep who was organizing some patrols. Flicking her ears when he mentioned Creamflower, thinking that taking her along with the patrols could be a good thing, then she could think other things than the lost kits. She entered the medicine cats den "hello Hawkspring, Crowpaw gave us this mice to share? If you want to?" she meowed to her mentor.

She was still looking for an available mentor to ask at, but as so far there was nobody, she turned to face her apprentice again "yes, I do agree with you, let's go just two of us" she meowed to her, flicking her tail to signal that there leaving now. She thought for q moment "so any ideas where you could want to go first?" she asked at her, wondering if she could have any good hunting spots to offer at.

She followed after the deputy when he told them to leave, flicking her ears toward Ravenpaw when he greeted her "Good morning Ravenpaw" she meowed giving a small smile, scanning at the young tom "Did you sleep well, you look little tired?" she asked giving a look toward the other two apprentices too.

He was focusing to the voices when this stranger tom walked up for nowhere, he starred at the older tom for a moment, realizing that this cat was not a clan cat "I could ask the same about you?" he murmured not in an aggressive way but not that friendly either. He looked the tom curiously "you know this is not the place to a kittypet? and you sure smell like one of those cats" he said with sight.

The calico tom purred a moment as some sun rays peeked through the leaves, shining on him and possibly the loner tom. His tail flicked gently back and forth a few times, then he looked up. He didn't say anything to that first speech, rather sentence, just went back to licking his paw, actually the other one this time. He huffed a bit when Shade spoke again, mewing "Yeah, well maybe I don't like being cooped up in a house or yard all day...I like the loch. Now, what's your name?" he asked.

He rolled his eyes a little bit annoyed 'kittypets' he thought himself looking at him "It's kind of odd to see older pet cat like you so far from your owners" he meowed thoughtfully "why do you need to know my name? we just meet because of bad luck I guess" he said to him sighing "and you could say your name before asking mine?" he keeps meowing.

Thrushpaw followed his mentor's gaze, his forepaws shuffling in thought. It'd only been a moon since he'd been an apprentice, and though he had some practice in hunting, he wasn't confident in picking a place today. "I guess it doesn't really matter... whatever you think works." he muttered softly.

The calico tom shook himself as he finished licking his paw, glancing to the loner again. He snorted when the other male called him old... "I'm only six...(I think, right?) What do you cats call it, moons? Sixty moons." then rolled his eyes at the question, then the second question. "My name is Loki..." he huffed, lashing his tail a moment. He glanced around a bit.
