Dapplemoon dipped her head in greeting to Cherrypaw. "You're not bothering either of us at all. Briarpaw took the initiative to check our herb stores." She looked affectionately at her apprentice. "She'll make an excellent medicine cat one day." She purred. "I hope you're well?" Instinctively, she glanced over the apprentice, trying to make sure the apprentice was uninjured.

Moonstalk yowled, fur bristling in shock. He took a moment to notice that it was his friend. He let out a good humoured purr, before rolling onto his back so Icyfrost was under him. "If you wanted some, you only needed to ask." He rolled off her, flicking his tail gently over her shoulder, before pushing the half of the mouse that was left towards her "Here, you can have this. That way, the rest can go to the clan."

Nightspark settled himself down in the clearing, kneading contentedly at the ground. He loved it when the sun was on his fur. He looked up as Whiteforest approached, nodding. "Good morning." He chuckled, before continuing. "I did. I'm considering going to hunt, if you'd like to join me? We can take advantage of the prey being active after the harsh leafbare."

Briarpaw shot her mentor a wide smile as she awoke, her fluffy tail moving to brush the bad herbs out of their storage and close to the entrance of the den, where she could dispose of them. She stopped for a moment as a yawn racked her body, her long limbs reaching out in another wide stretch "It doesn't look like we need to do much gathering today. Just missing some cobweb and marigold." Briarpaw snapped her attention toward the entrance of the den, her eyes lighting up at the sight of her friend padding in "Morning Cherrypaw! I was just looking through the herbs before the sun rose. You're up early." The oriental longhair turned back toward her mentor as she was praised, her pelt heating up in embarrassment as the kind words "Thanks Dapplemoon.. I sure hope so."

Poppyshade jumped as another warrior approached her from behind, a small gasp leaving her maw in the process. Her ears immediately flattened against her skull, somewhat embarrassed that she'd been frightened by a simple hello, especially with how hard she'd worked to build herself up over the years. She let out a small sigh and turned to focus her gaze on the younger tom, a small, embarrassed smile crossing her maw "Ahh, good morning Slyfox. I'm fine... just a bit of a nightmare. How are you doing?" Poppyshade chuckled lightly, trying to get the conversation focused on a different topic, rather than her. She cleared her throat and looked down at her paws, feeling awkward about what she was about to say "Thank you though" Just as she was beginning to calm herself down, another tom appeared, curiosity and worry lacing his words, forcing her hair to stand on end "Sorry Mistspirit.. I was trying to get out as quiet as I could manage.. I hope I didn't wake the two of you.." The tortoiseshell warrior looked toward Mistspirit with another small smile, somewhat happy that she wasn't being left alone to her thoughts "I just had a nightmare is all. I came out here to calm down.. sorry again for forcing the two of you out here."

Copperfang pulled himself up onto his paws as a few warriors got up and left the den, hitting his nest on their way out. The tabby tom made his own way out of the den and into the clearing, his gaze shifting toward the trio of cats sitting outside the den. He took a quick second to scan the camp for his apprentice before trotting to the fresh-kill pile and grabbing a mouse, his mouth watering at the delicious scent. Copperfang laid himself down beside the pile and began to tear apart his prey, waiting for his apprentice to return before he went out into the forest.

Scorchflame padded into camp with his head held high, his jaws full of they prey he'd caught earlier that morning. He took pride in the fact that he was able to wake before sunhigh, especially when he didn't have an apprentice to wake up for. Though he didn't have anyone to look after, he knew he had to pull his weight in the clan, and that meant hunting for the morning catch. The flame-colored tabby trotted over to the fresh-kill pile and sat his catch down, a large yawn racking his body as he took the time to settle down. The large tom sat himself down where he stood, and began to groom off the dew that had collected on his fluffy paws.

Slyfox dipped his head kindly as Poppyshade explained.
"I understand. Nightmares can seem pretty real sometimes. I'm alright, I slept pretty wel-" He was cut off as Mistspirit slid out of the den, and felt Poppyshade jump beside him. After she had greeted the other tom, he shook his head, purring.
"You didn't wake me up," he lied, glancing over to Mistspirit, "And to be honest, I probably stepped on his tail or something." Another purr rumbled in his chest. "Sorry if I did!"
He turned back to Poppyshade, noticing how put off she seemed, and gave her ear an encouraging flick with his tail.
"And you certainly didn't force either of us out here! We just wanted to make sure you were okay."

As the apprentice trekked further, she became aware of the sun rising higher. The clan would be fully awake soon. Glancing around, Frostpaw made the decision to make her way back to camp, stopping a few times to look around. It seemed that Rayclan territory gets more boring every day, there's only so much an apprentice can explore. Noticing her empty belly, the apprentice took a quick moment to hunt something to eat. She was neither a border nor hunting patrol, so it should be fine. Pouncing on a vole, Frostpaw nipped it before settling down to eat it.

As Frostpaw padded into the camp, she took notice of her mentor, Copperfang, eating a mouse. Not in the mood to train, Frostpaw climbed one of the nearby trees to hide in until her mentor took notice of her.

Watching her clan bustle in the early morning light, Cinderstar catches Mothfern beginning her morning prayer, and sighs. At least the young cats are still faithful, she thinks, padding over towards the other she-cat, steps light as to not interrupt her prayer. Interrupting one's prayer was generally considered rude in the clan, and Cinderstar always took great caution in not being loud or disturbing while one may be praying.

Poppyshade watched as the tom was interrupted, choking back a light chuckle in the process. She wasn't usually one to show her emotions, and she wouldn't let a friendly chat between clanmates ruin what she'd created. The tortie fae gave him a curt nod, her small smile still plastered across her face as he continued on, taking note of the light purr rumbling in his chest "Good.. I'd hate to have ruined your rest... and I'm glad you were able to get a good night's sleep before all the commotion I made." Poppyshade stiffened as the younger tom's tail brushed across her ear, a wave of electricity surging through her body as he made contact. She quickly jumped to her paws and moved away toward the center of the clearing, an awkward chuckle leaving her jaws as she turned to look back toward the two toms "Ahh.. well thank you Slyfox.. and you too Mistspirit.. I appreciate the two of you coming to check up on me." She turned away for a quick moment, her expression turning into one of embarrassment as her actions replayed in her mind, her tail curling up in disgust at the way she'd been acting. Poppyshade took a moment to take a deep breath before looking over her shoulder at the pair of warriors, her expression returning to its normal, stoney state "Would the two of you like to join me on a patrol? I'm sure Chasingcomets will be putting them together soon.."

Copperfang picked his head up as another warrior approached, his head cocked slightly to the side as he was greeted by the drowsy tom "Good morning Adderstrike. Sleep well?" The tabby tom let out a small chuckle at the brown tabby's remark, his gaze shifting down to focus on the mouse he'd just finished devouring "You could say that.." He jumped to his paws as the words left his jaws, his claws scraping at the ground beside him to make a hole for his mouse's remains, his head shaking as the tom spoke once more "Not that I know of. I'd like to be a member of the first patrol though, so I hope she puts one together soon."

After lying around for a while, Cloudpaw sat up, gave her pelt a quick shake and squeezed through the entrance. She noticed the clan had begun to rise and she looked around to spot her mentor. Something else caught her attention instead and Cloudpaw turned her head to see Slyfox and Poppyshade talking nearby. I might as well look nice while I'm waiting for my mentor, Cloudpaw thought and sat down to thoroughly groom her fur.
