Padding out of her den after her morning prayer, Cinderstar shakes her pelt out, glancing around camp. There's few cats out and about; a fact that fails to bother her. The she-cat had always been an early riser, never one to waste her time away sleeping when there are important things to do. She raises her eyes to the sky, no clouds to be seen. Strange, how the weather is so good, yet I'm still filled with this overwhelming dread. Cinderstar thinks to herself, flicking her tail.

The tabby tom slowly blinks his eyes open, yawning. He shifts in his nest, blinking sleepily. I wonder if I could get away with staying here all day, Adderstrike thinks, flicking his tail. Though I'd probably never hear the end of it from Cinderstar. Chuckling to himself, the brown tom slowly stands up, stretching carefully, as to avoid waking his sleeping clanmates.

Briarpaw rolled out of her nest with a sigh, her limbs reaching out in a much-needed stretch. She let out a small chuckle as her gaze fell over her still-sleeping mentor, her tail swaying in delight. The young apprentice loved waking up before the older fae, it gave her some time to look over the herb storage and practice her memorizing skills before she needed to actually work. She took a moment to engage in her morning prayer, a smile spreading across her maw as she finished. The pale brown fae pulled herself up onto her paws and made her way over to where the herbs were stacked, their fragrance making fireworks explode in her chest. She kept her gaze focused on them as she looked each of them over, her paws quick to pull out some of the more wilted leaves so she could figure out what herbs they needed to collect later that day.

Poppyshade woke up with a start, her breathing coming out in heavy bursts as she awoke from her nightmare. It had been a while since she had one, but the intensity of it never changed. She could feel her paws trembling as she pulled herself up and padded out of the den, being sure not to step on any tails as she made her way out. The tortoiseshell warrior sat herself outside the entrance to the den and closed her eyes, letting out deep breaths as she attempted to rid her thoughts of the images she'd just been awoken by.

Copperfang continued to sleep soundly, his body curling up into his nest, and his tail tucking over his nose. He knew he probably should be getting up now, but the fact that the sun hadn't yet shone through the entrance of the den kept him in his spot. The tabby tom let out a content sigh and fell back into his deep sleep, his breathing beginning to slow back down as he fell into dreamland.

Scorchflame padded into camp with his head held high, his jaws full of they prey he'd caught earlier that morning. He took pride in the fact that he was able to wake before sunhigh, especially when he didn't have an apprentice to wake up for. Though he didn't have anyone to look after, he knew he had to pull his weight in the clan, and that meant hunting for the morning catch. The flame-colored tabby trotted over to the fresh-kill pile and sat his catch down, a large yawn racking his body as he took the time to settle down. The large tom sat himself down where he stood, and began to groom off the dew that had collected on his fluffy paws.

Taking a quick stretch, Frostpaw quietly stood up in the apprentice's den, padding out. A few cats were awake, including her sister, Briarpaw. Glancing at the warrior's den, Frostpaw found her mentor still asleep. With a sigh, the young apprentice padded out of the camp, looking for something else to do while she waited for Copperfang to wake up. The plain was quiet as Frostpaw searched for something to do. It would be a while until Copperfang would need her, so this would be a good opportunity to explore. Turning to one of the mountains, the apprentice began to make her way towards it.

Dapplemoon

Dapplemoon woke up, stretching her muscles out and yawning. She left her nest, going through her morning prayer. Once complete, she padded over to Briarpaw, watching her apprentice work. She purred, pleased with how eager the young cat was. Stepping forward, she cast her gaze over the wilted herbs that had been removed, before turning her attention to the stocks. She was relieved that newleaf had brought them an abundance of essential herbs.

Moonstalk

Moonstalk woke early, and decided to join the morning hunting patrol. By the time he returned, he had caught a few mice and a shrew. While it wasn't the best catch, it would feed the clan. He stretched his paws out, before placing his prey on the fresh kill pile. Once he knew there was enough, he picked up one of the mice again, sitting underneath a tree. He took the time to savour his prey, enjoying the taste.

Nightspark remained in his den until the sun shone through into the den. He knew he couldn't sleep for much longer, lest he endure another lecture from Moonstalk about lazing around. He sat up in his den, reciting the morning prayer. He looked around the den, noticing a few other cats were still sleeping. He groomed his fur, enjoying the peace for a moment longer. Once he was clean, he'd leave the den.

Cloudpaw noticed her denmates beginning to stir and stretch, she herself had been awake for quite some time. She has had trouble sleeping ever since she moved here from the nursery because the young cat's mind was all tangled up with thoughts about her new adventures as a warrior apprentice. Instead of longing for more sleep, Cloudpaw was looking forward to what the new day might bring and what she could learn from her mentor and her clanmates. She turned her head to steal a peep at her sister, wondering if she should jump on Dawnpaw's tail. I don't want my day to start with cats being mad at me, she thought to herself and pricked her ears to listen to her fellow denmates waking up.

Lurk watched quietly from the shadows of Black Death's temporary camp as the other cats began to get up and start their tasks for the day. The thought of spending another day with these wretched cats made her stomach turn, and her heart ached as memories of her brother's pleading face filled her mind just as they had every day since Black Death had left him behind to die. She squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head slowly. I'm sorry, Wild. I shouldn't have left you, I just... Quickly shoving the thoughts from her mind to avoid being shouted at by Eclipse or someone else, she stood and shook out her fur, deciding she might leave for a hunt.

Slyfox was startled awake by a cat rushing out of the warriors' den. Blinking the sleep away, he just caught a glimpse of a tortoiseshell tail slipping outside. He got up and slowly stretched before padding out to where Poppyshade was sitting, her eyes closed against the morning light. He knew he had to do his morning prayer, but Poppyshade's heavy breathing concerned him, and despite his knowledge of her cold personality, he wanted to try and help. He sat next to her quietly.
"Hey, are you alright? I saw you go out, and you don't look too well."

He was being out to take one long walk around the territory, enjoying the fresh weather and checking the borders when he walked past them, not seeing or finding anything to report for. Sighing he gave a look into the horizon then toward the sky, wondering if he could need to go back now, so his apprentice Bluepaw could not wait too long for today's training. Leaving the peaceful spot he loved to be at, the short-tailed tom, made his way back to camp, giving a glare toward the cats which was being already up and ready as he entered the camp entrance.

He was being out in a night patrol last night and didn't really get much of sleep before the early dawn, so he was very tired. Though he did know that he needed to wake up like anyone else and he already missed the morning hunting patrol, maybe he could go hunt by himself or wait for the later patrols to join at. Yawning he gave a look at his sister teasing Moonstalk there and Nightspark coming out of the den as well "well good morning Nightspark, did you miss the morning patrol as well?" he meowed softy.

She sat warrior's den entrance, grooming her pelt when saw Moonstalk walking back to camp with some prey to his jaws. She watched as he took them into the fresh-kill pile, flicking her tail as she noticed him starting to eat one, a small smirk came to her mouth when she started to walk toward him. Silently, when she was only a few steps behind him she jumped into his back, landing her paws into his shoulders like she was hugging him from behind "ooh, did you find something nice? not even thought about sharing?" she meowed laughing at her friend.

She was being up for a while now and started to get bored as her mentor didn't really show up either, which didn't really bother her at all, now she could have some time to talk with other apprentices. Shaking her head she saw Briarpaw walking toward the place the medicine cats hoarded the herbs, she made her way toward it "Briarpaw? Are you busy? What are you doing?" she called out before entering the den, noticing the Dapplemoon there as well "ooh! Good morning Dapplemoon...I hope I didn't bother anything?" she meowed.

Mothfern loathed getting up early. She'd never been an early riser, and the peek of sunlight across her face brought no joy. In fact, she'd never really been a day time cat to begin with—curse being a long-furred cat. Mothfern got up because she was supposed to, not because she wanted to. Today was one of those days. The she-cat was merely going through the motions and, though not the first to awaken within camp, it was a rare sight to see her up so early. Mothfern settled herself outside, sitting down
to begin her morning prayer.

Blinking awake, it took Mistspirit a moment to realize just why he'd been awoken. Being a light sleeper was a trait he carried already but this ... this felt different. Sniffing at the air, he detected something was amiss and rose into a lazy stretch. He barely caught sight of Slyfox hurrying from the den. Mistspirit shook the weariness from his pelt and set off to figure out just what was going on, emerging to find Poppyshade and Slyfox sitting nearby. "Is everything alright?" He called out, voice quiet.

Goldenleaf had already begun her day, long before the sun thought of touching the horizon. Unable to sleep and feet feeling restless, she'd gone upon a mix of head-clearing walk and attempting to hunt. Most creatures were, quite wisely, asleep and tucked into their dens. Her night was spent aimless, only managing to catch two mice, before it felt morning had rapidly approached. A strange feeling prickling at her pads, Goldenleaf made her way back to camp. The she-cat trailed in behind Fullmoon, realizing he'd been out and about as well. She was more than a little surprised she hadn't bumped into him before. "You're up early, Fullmoon!" She meowed around a mouthful of mouse tail.
