Daisypup

She dog| Golden Labrador Retriever| six moons| Tag:Fallensnow,Willowstep

Daisypup decided to get something to eat. She left the medicine dog den and grabbed a squirrel for herself and a rabbit for Ashpaw and Willowstep. Daisypup ate her squirrel quickly, wanting to hurry back and keep an eye on the pups. She stood up and grabbed the rabbit in her jaws. Willowstep and Ashpaw deserved it for being so nice, that and Ashpaw had stayed with them the whole time looking after Fallensnow and the pups. As she neared the medicine dog den she was careful to be quiet. Fallensnow and the pups needed rest and she wouldn’t stop them from resting. She walked in and lay the rabbit near Willowstep. “I thought you and Ashpaw might be a bit hungry so I brought you both this rabbit.” The pup said, whispering quietly. She then went to lay where the pups were. She let out a quiet yawn and curled up to sleep.

Emberstorm didn't believe Nightpaw one bit. He obviously seemed upset—really upset. But she didn't want to prod him with questions. Sometimes when she was upset, she just needed some time alone. She nodded and pretended to dismiss the whole subject. She walked further into ThunderPack territory, keeping alert for any signs of prey. Suddenly she heard a faint rustling. She stopped and glanced around for signs of movement. There! A wood dove was pecking at the ground. Just as she was about to step towards it, she noticed a small squirrel about 5 tail-lengths away. She used her tail to signal Nightpaw to go for the squirrel, and she'll go for the dove.
She crept slowly forward carefully hiding behind a bush. She was close enough to see the dove's gleaming eyes and soft feathers. Just as the dove pecked again at the floor, Emberstorm lunged. But a sharp pain shot up her right paw. She let out a surprised bark. The dove startled, took flight. No! Ignoring the throbbing pain, she bunched up her legs and took a massive leap. She managed to grab the dove's wing, dragging it to the floor. The dove flapped its wings wildly, feathers flying everywhere. Emberstorm pinned it to the ground and finished it off. Chest heaving, she gasped for breath. She turned around to see how Nightpaw did.

He saw the tail flick and he went after the squirrel. He crept up on it and pounced, finishing it with a bite.

Emberstorm sighed with relief as she saw that Nightpaw have caught the squirrel. She was afraid her that her yelp might have scared it off. Holding up her injured paw she examined it. There was a huge thorn stuck in between her paw pads. She growled with annoyance. She wasn't one to deal with pain easily. She hated getting injured. The thorn seemed to be too embedded for her to take out. She would have to go see Willowstep. "Let's get back to camp. Then, you can enjoy that juicy squirrel. And, I'll have to introduce you to everyone before they freak out that I've brought a outpacker into our territory." She picked up the dove and limped towards the direction of the camp.

"Ok." He goes back for the rabbit he caught and carried it along with the squirrel. He was surprised that he was going into the camp Am I going to live with this pack? Will they accept me?

Ashpaw

He watched at the young she-dog for a moment, as she offered the rabbit "Thank you Daisypup..." he said with a small smile, then take the rabbit toward his mentor "want to share this Willowstep? there is enough for both" he said flicking his tail.

She curled around next to her newly born pups, giving a quick look over at Daisypup when the young she-dog walked back to the den to sleep. Smiling she closed her eyes too to take some little naps to get her powers back.

Eaglepaw could hardly contain his excitement. Finally Emberstorm got to the entrance of the camp. She ducked through the brambles and into the clearing. She beckoned Nightpaw to follow. Catching sight of Mouseheart at the far corner, she cocked her head slightly. What is he doing there? She limped towards him "Why are you outside the medicine dog den?

He circled once or twice - wincing at the pain in his broken leg as he hobbled on it to do so - before lying down in a soft patch of grass beneath his favorite tree. He sighed quietly, closing his eyes. As much as he had been determined to prove a point to the Medicine Dog, he felt rather lonely now. It was so frustrating, how they clearly disfavored him. But it's even more frustrating that I care. He huffed angrily to himself and reopened his eyes, curling his body into a tight, tiny ball so that he could lick the wound that had reopened along his flank. His ears perked up at a voice that sounded behind him, startled. Taking one last lick at the wound, he looked up to see Emberstorm. "I dunno. Why are you limping?" he asked, though it was more to dodge the annoying question than to provide a satisfying answer. His bugged gaze traveled to Nightpaw, the outsider who was, for some reason, still on ThunderPack ground. However much he wasn't allowed to be there, Mouseheart didn't have it in him to give more scorn. Plus, he didn't want to anymore. Not after the young dog had saved him.

He looked around seeing dogs eating, sharing tongues, play-fighting or just sleeping. He recognized the tiny dog and gave him a nod of his head.
