As Duskepelt turned and began to walk east, Eaglepaw followed her, but looked back to say, "Alright, bye Emberstorm! Bye Nightpaw!" As he followed Duskpelt, he heard her comment on more rabbits and deer, he got excited. "Really? Even deer?" He hadn't ever really learned the whereabouts of different prey, nor the exact locations of different borders. So, deer and rabbits East... he thought, trying to remember. "How strong are deer? Are they fast?" He had only ever seen deer on the prey-pile, divided into multiple pieces and long-dead.

Willowstep watched them talk about names, the canine nodding, they seemed fitting. They were an adorable bunch and it looked like Daisypup was Fallensnows own pup-but she wasn’t. They had a good relationship thought which was very heartwarming. She lied with her chin on her paws, admiring the family but frowning, she wish she had one of her own-but it was code, and she couldn’t break it.

Duskpelt shrugged, ”not as fast as rabbits, they’re more of fighters, they’ll kick at you a lot. That’s why you need two or more dogs to take one down, they can seriously injure you if you’re standing in the wrong spot at the wrong time, but no worries, nothing too serious will happen” she assured with a small smile, the two padding along the forest.

He looked over to his mentor "so what could we do now? any plans?" he asked at her, flicking his tail lightly "this sure is being a long day, or feels very long..." he said sighing.

She looked and nodded to the young pup, then to her own little pups "yes, those could be perfect names for them" she said giving a lick to each other's foreheads smiling. She shook her head to Daisypups question "no not, really...I am a little tired, but nothing more, thank you by offering though" she said to her.

“You should get some rest Fallensnow. I wouldn’t blame you if you closed your eyes for a nap. The pups aren’t going anywhere. I could watch them all day and not be bored in the slightest. I feel like an overprotective big sister.” Daisypup said, chuckling softly and wagging her tail happily.

Eaglepaw could hardly contain his excitement. He was a young apprentice, and hadn't even been in training for a month, and although Duskpelt met with him and helped train him almost every day, they hadn't ever tried to hunt something big together before. "How do deer taste?" he asked, his head full of it's un-stoppable flow of question. "Do they travel in packs or are they alone?" His tail was like a little tornado; it couldn't contain itself.

After catching the rabbit, he picked up Eaglepaw's words with his sharp hearing. I've yet to hunt deer but I don't think I should join them. He started to feel the ever present sadness that seemed to stick to him ever since he lost his pack. If only Duskpup survived, she'd love to hear about this rabbit I caught. My dad would proud and mom would be proud too, Duskpup would be running circles around me. He sighed and lay down. he closed his eyes and let memories of his pack flood his mind.

Emberstorm nodded as Duskpelt spoke, excitement building up as she couldn't wait to start hunting. "Ok! Come on Nightpaw! I just remembered I promised you prey. I got distracted when I got to camp. Oops, sorry, you must be hungry." She started walking towards the west side of ThunderPack territory. But just after she took a few steps, she noticed that Nightpaw wasn't following. Turning around she saw him lying on the floor looking upset. "Nightpaw?! Are you okay?" her voice edged with surprise and concern.

(also sorry Duskpelt for stealing Eaglepaw's question. I had to reply to keep up my attendance. Sorry XD)

He heard Emberstorm's questions and looked up No I'm not ok, My pack is dead leaving me feeling sad..More then sad. I feel depressed. He thought but said "I'm ok." He gets up and shakes the dust from his fur. "Now let's go hunt deer." I could tell them but I don't want to burden them with my problems, they're not my pack after all. He thought as he followed.

She nodded to Daisypup, landing her head over her paws "thank you, a little rest could do good for now...you can get something to eat if you want to just don't wander too far" she said to her closing her eyes 'only if their father could be there to see them, they're perfect' she thought herself falling asleep almost immediately.
