Daisyshadow's ears flicked as she listened quietly to the conversation between Goldeneye and the rogue. When the conversation was done, she saw him rise to his feet, beckon for her to follow, and then walk out. Daisyshadow took one more look at Russetnose and the medicine cat and followed suit. Her tail swished in annoyance as he nicknamed her
Psycho cat, but she held her tongue.
"Hey mouse-brain, I suppose we can go hunt or something until Icestar returns. Kill some time." She retaliated.
Her ears perked to the sound of his voice and then turned to face him. "What, no. She doesn't help in the nursery. She just had kits." She answered his question in a snarky tone. when he just nodded, she cocked her head to the side in wonder. Did she say something wrong?

Stone tried not to react as the bristles of her pelt touched his. He turned and padded out of the den to let the medicine cat get to work.
"Lets go, you psycho cat you." He chuckled, as he did his best to ignore Goldeneye's presence. She hurt him deeply. Deeper than any wound on his body, and this wound hasn't healed yet, nor was he ready to deal with it. Once out of ear shot of Goldeneye. He turned to Daisyshadow and asked;
"Goldeneye smells of milk. Is she helping out in the nursery rather than a warrior?" He was shocked to hear that she had just given birth and instantly he knew they must be his. He felt a shiver course through his entire body. He began to think of every possible thing.
Did she leave because she didn't think I would make a good father? I thought we were in love? Was I nothing more than a donor to her? This angered him. But he stayed silent.
