While he didn't really want to handle the task of escorting the younger apprentices back to camp, he knew he was probably the warrior best suited for the job at this time "Of course. They're in good hands." The tailless tom shot a quick glance at each of the other members of the patrol, wishing them each safe travels through the unknown territory. He turned-tail and trotted back toward the camp, making sure the two apprentices were following close behind him as he broke through the entrance of their camp, his sights set on the smokey grey tom sitting near the highrock "Ghostface, we found traces of other cats near the eastern border. Dapplebriar, Nimblefoot, and Nighthowl stayed behind with her apprentice to scout out the area. We think it would be best if a few more experienced cats joined the patrol.."

Beedapple purred lightly as the two made their way deeper into the forest, her mouth watering as the scents of the forest overloaded her scent glands, filling her body with an immense warmth. She turned toward the younger fae as she called out to her, her nose aimed toward the sky as she took in more of the scent-filled air "I can smell a mouse pretty close to us.. I can also hear the fluttering of wings in the trees above us." The older warrior dropped herself into a hunter's crouch, her gaze searching the forest floor for the mouse she had scented only moments earlier, her ears angled in the same direction. Beedapple'd lips curled up as a small smile formed on her maw, her bright gaze focused on the small creature as it scurried around the base of a large tree, completely oblivious to her presence. The calico fae lurched forward with as much force as she could muster and hooked her claws into the mouse's rear, making sure to send a quick bite to the back of its neck before letting go "That's one down. Let's see if we can find some more."

He frowned as they disappeared into the forest, his long tail lashing slowly behind him. Not only did he want to show of his own skills, he was extremely interested in seeing where the other two had gotten in their training as well.. among other things, though he refused to admit that to himself. The pale tabby tom turned to his mentor with a slow sigh, his long ears pulled back to press against his skull "Should we wait for other members to join us, or should we follow the scent ourselves?"

The large tom gave the clearing a quick glance as the young warrior spoke, picking out a few warriors he thought would be good additions to the now-dangerous patrol "Thank you for letting me know. You three should get something to eat. You may be needed if something comes up later." Ghostface gave the group a dip of his skull and waved his tail in dismissal, his narrowed gaze now aimed toward the rest of his clanmates as he called out to the select few he'd chosen "Brindlefang and Creamflower I want the two of you to ready yourself and join the patrol by the eastern border. Be ready for anything, it sounds like there will be some confrontation." The deputy turned his attention toward the medicine cat's den and made his way over, a friendly smile on his face as he called out to the medicine cat herself "I'm sorry to interrupt, but I just wanted to let you know there's a possibly we'll have a few injuries coming back from this patrol.. be prepared just in case. Thank you." Ghostface gave the young fae a respectful dip of his skull and padded back out into the clearing, a sigh leaving his maw.

Bluefeather- The silver blue she-cat groomed her clanmate Bristlefoot as he shares tongues with her. Her bext stop was to pay a visit to the nursery to see if any of the Queens or kits needed anything.

Breezeclaw- The tabby striped tom sat near the pile of prey. His green eyes scanning the area, watching the other cats. His tail flicked slowly as he was deep in thought.
