Moonstar


Moonstar hopped up onto a large rock that served as the clans new meeting place. The molly's eyes brightened as she called her clan together."Let all cats old enough to rise at dawn gather for a clan meeting!" she yowled. Four moons ago they had arrived at the territory the clan seemed much happier. They're was more room and prey so everyone could flourish. Everyone seemes much happier here,including Moonstar herself. She let out a loud purr as her clan began to gather beneath her.

The black and white tom had recently returned from an impromptu hunting patrol consisting of himself and Bogflower, as they had wanted to make sure everyone had something to eat for this morning. He carefully took the tabby's mice so she could find a spot, as he headed towards the prey pile, placing their catches down. He took his own spot near the younger warrior, leaning forward so he could hear the leader as she spoke, his tail curling over his white paws.

The beige tabby followed after her clanmate, raising an eyebrow ever so slightly, they had arrived just in time for the clan meeting that neither of them had been aware of. She simply let him take the catches, already knowing what he was doing, as she had sat on a dry spot in the clearing, giving the older tom a brief glance to make sure he wasn't going back out to hunt. Some cats might have found their friendship somewhat odd, but both of them had lost cats of their family and hadn't had many others to turn to.

Creamflower is eating a fish from the fresh-kill pile, savoring the delicious taste. She hears Moonstar calling for a Clan meeting and sits up to listen to what Moonstar has to say, staying where she is.

Naming ceremonies were always so exciting, though it seemed like they were happening almost once a moon nowadays. The warrior chose a spot with some shade, letting himself take a break from the heat, though it wasn't that hot out to begin with.

The prey on the new territory seemed to be pretty similar to the prey back at their old home, but there were some weird new creatures to be caught. The tom gently sat the two prey onto the fresh-kill pile as he heard Moonstar call for a clan meeting. His ears perked at the call, and he looked around the still-forming group for someone to sit next to. He saw his sister find a spot near the edge of the group, but he quickly looked away. She wouldn't want him to sit next to her for something like this.

They were doing pretty good and he half-hoped they would at least be taking their assessment soon. However, he also knew that he himself had plenty to learn in the last moon of his apprenticeship. So maybe getting their warrior names early wasn't that realistic... oh, well. Hopefully, he should only have one moon left as an apprentice, then he can become a warrior.

Weirder things have happened, so she supposed it could be possible. Then again, their mentors still hadn't given them their assessments, so she figured their chances were slim. As she sat down, Fawnpaw looked around the clan camp. Their clan was huge, and it seemed so weird to see such a big group of cats in such a new place. They'd already been there for four moons now, but everything still felt odd to her.

We just have to watch!" she squealed, prodding at her brothers and sister. Clan meetings were super cool, and there were always new cats to meet as they all attended the meeting. It was her goal to know the name of every single cat in the clan by the time she was named an apprentice, and so far she's got almost everyone down.

In an attempt to avoid going, he buried himself a bit in his nest and covered his hears with his paws. "I don't wanna go," the kit whined, drawing out "go" with his muffled voice.

She wasn't one for crowds, but she dealt with it all the same; she couldn't afford to be picky, especially living in a clan. She curled her tail over her paws as she sat down, her head held high in pride for Honeypaw, who would be receiving her warrior name.

It seemed the shaded spots had already been taken by other cats -- she noticed Patchstream among them -- wanting to escape the harsh sun. It wasn't as hot as other days, she thought, but it was hot nonetheless. She eventually moved to sit in front of the crowded shade spots, hoping it would be a bit cooler; her long fur was dreadful on warm days. She watched her leader sit atop high rock and felt a surge of pride for the apprentices becoming warriors.

Dreamcloud had settled nicely into her new den in the new camp, though sometimes she woke up in the dead of night panicking because she forgot that they had moved and she freaked out when she couldn't find Mixmoon. But then she'd remember and she lay back down crying softly into her nest because she so very much missed her dearly, but still she continued her job with pride and determined to make the spirit of Mixmoon proud. This morning had been quite a bright and cheerful morning maybe a sign that today was going to be a good day. She exited the den listening to Moonstar's call she walked over to sit near the nursery hoping to see the faces of Bramblekit and Thistlekit as well as Cocoaflower and Batfang.
