"We can bury the kit in our Cemetery by Sage Falls, and comfort the mother. Losing kits is always heartbreaking, especially at this young of age."
(We might want to refrain from doing anything rash just yet; I'm messaging _Warriors_ about plot ideas. We're thinking a prophecy of sorts which would include Petal-kit AND Bat-kit.)

Sage-star enter the Nursery depressed.
"Raven-cry...I'm terribly sorry, but we suspect Bat-kit had caught your white-cough and they have died a few hours ago. Petal-kit is healthy."

Sage-star looked bewildered for a moment, trying to fit the puzzle pieces together.
"Either Soft-paw was playing some sort of sick joke, or Star-clan has revived her for some reason. It must be important..."

Her ear twitched when seeing the queen walk to the nursery. She couldn't look at her, she didn't want to see the look on the mothers face when she found out so she crawled into the apprentice den and tried to sleep.

Honeykit nodded as she pointed with her tail out of the nursery "There is a new cat in the clan! Also there a strange she-cat with newborn kittens here I dont know where she went"

maplebranch nodded " well lets go see them kits huh?" maplebranch asked getting up and out of the nest padding to the entrance of the nursery

Sage-star nodded.
"We're glad that Bat-kit is alright. You must need some rest, I'll leave." He bobbed his head and exited.

Cricket-leap sat on a rock in the forest, cleaning her pelt. The wind rustling the leaves made the atmosphere so calm and serene. Not a single animal stirred, except for the occasional bird or squirrel chittering in the treetops.

Sage-star groomed his pelt calmly, quite bored really. The she-cat in the medicine den was healing nicely, Bat-kit had been revived. What could go wrong?
