Whitepaw smiled at his brother but shook his head. "Go catch up with Candypaw, I'll be fine. I'm gonna see if Sunlight will let me out of camp to practice, and if not, well,I'll find a way out." He meowed, his smile a true one this time, feeling better after speaking to Eaglepaw.

"Okay." Eaglepaw said shrugging, but also smiling a little. "You may not want to leave camp now though..." he walked into the apprentice den. He had wanted to sneak up on the pair and scare them, but decided that it would be cruel. "You guys alright?" he asked.

candypaw shook her head and yelped at another bolt her fur stood up

"Its just thunder!" exclaimed Eaglepaw, surprised at how afraid she was. He lay down next to her and gently licked her head.

candypaw nuzzled in eagelpaw's fur "but it is loud and it makes the ground shake"

"Its just the Starclan cats seeing who's roar is the loudest." said Eaglepaw. "Fernleaf always told me that when I was a kit..."

candypaw looked at him with a smile and touched her nose to his cheek

"Oh brother. Just be quiet." Another boom sounded. Icepaw hissed and dug her claws into the ground.

Eaglepaw purred and began to groom Canykit's ears. "Hey Candykit? I've been wondering...What is candy?" Eaglepaw heard Icepaw's comment, not sure if it was directed at him or the thunder.
