Icepaw glared at Brownnose.

[Wanderer.]

"Well, someone's gotta do something." He meowed before taking a deep breath, and letting out the wail of pain he'd been hiding as he fell to the ground.

Feathermist raised her head and ran over to where her leader was. "What was that?" She meowed worriedly to the leader and Brownnose.

"Yes, Brownnose?" replied Pebblestar.

"Whitepaw!" wailed Eaglepaw. "Someone get Sunlight!"

Snake looked alarmed. Moonsong cut in. "Oh, he's just a loner. I was giving him directions to the best way to get across the valley." she said. Snake nodded.

"Nevermind. My apprentice needs me..." Brownnose inwardly cursed, but kept it to himself. He padded over quickly to Whitepaw. "Whitepaw, is your leg hurting you again? Come on, lets get you to the medicine cat den." He helped his apprentice up slowly and walked him to the medicine cat den.

Whitepaw nodded, griting his teeth as if in pain and walking with an obvious limp. Turning his head he winked and flashed a quick smile at the others before returning to his act.

Blossomfur saw her kin hissing at something and saw snake she gasped and grabed candypaw and left

"oh okay...?" she tilted her head "what's your name?" csndypaw felt herself being lifted "ma!" she jumped out of her grasp and walked back to snake

Icepaw caught on and snickered. Whitepaw was faking it! She decided to thank him for his genius later. For now, she was going to go into the apprentice den and laugh into a piece of moss to muffle it.

Brownnose dropped him off and asked, "Why haven't you been resting? You need to take better care of your leg." Brownnose may have been a rogue... but not killing Whitepaw has recently entered his mind.

Candypaw looked at snake "who are you?" she mewed and sat down

[Wanderer.]

"Sorry Brownnose." He whimpered as if in pain. "I-I just wanted to get back to training as soon as possible, I don't want to let the others get ahead of me." Whitepaw meowed, deciding quickly on which aproach he would take to this. He shouldn't use the 'I just want to be a great warrior', which, though the truth, wouldn't work. Not with Brownnose. So, he chose the old 'I want to be the best.'

Brownnose smirked. That sounded like him when he was a younger rogue. "I know, but you might delay yourself if you hurt your leg again. So try to rest more, alright?"

Icepaw had finished laughing, and decided to hang out near the fresh kill pile. Then a familier scent entered her nose. Snake! What was he doing here?
