Coyotefang heard Devilpaw trampling through the woods like a crazy badger. NO!! he shrieked inwardly. She'll scare Duskfury and Snake away! I need to follow them to see where they'll take Snakekit – Devilpaw's ruining everything!!!!!

Devilpaw stood still for a moment knowing her mother wouldn't be scared off easily. She swiftly climbed a large tree and settled down in the branches her amber eyes glowing with fire. Her claws slipped into the tree bracnh and she held still.

Duskfury lapped her chest fur and then gazed the the strong kit. "Hmm almost ready for battle trainning don't you think Snake?" She purred her voice sounding like sugar and Devilpaw wanted to swipe her muzzle soo badly but instead she waited for the right time to strike.

Snake plopped the kit down and put a firm paw on it so it wouldnt run off. "Yes. We just a need a good hideout-" he stopped short. "Do you smell that? its smells like a cat... how bout we keep moving?" he put the kit back in his mouth

Snakekit squealed "mama's ganna find you and take me home.."

Coyotefang moved softly and swiftly, checking down to make sure he didn't step on any sharp twigs or crackly leaves. He tested every step before putting weight on it, and silently followed Duskfury and Snake.

Devilpaw climbed higher not making a sound, her pelt blending in with the tree bark.

"I agree but let's grab some herbs on the way my stomach's killing me," She graoned slightly as she stood then shook her pelt and padded into the bushes. She stopped short scenting Coyotefang then she turned to Snake and mouthed 'We have a spy let's go' And then to Snakekit she sneered "If your mama cared about you would she let you get kidnapped in the first place? If any of those cats cared about you, you would be with your mama and my good for nothing daughter," She growled.

Snake flicked his ears. "to admit the cat was good at stalking, he hadn't noticed him yet. "ee eed ooh oh!" he said through a mouthful of fur. OOC: 'we need to go'
he picked up the pace graduallly

Coyotefang... a voice sliced through his thoughts.
Coyotefang couldn't believe it. D-Dryclaw!?
Brother, it's me! Dryclaw whispered. Your cover is blown... fight! Fight, brother!
You forgive me, then? Coyotefang thought still bewildered.
Yes yes sure – just hurry before they get away! Devilpaw will follow them, but only if you weaken them!

Forgetting about silence, Coyotefang sprang out of the undergrowth with a huge growl and began viciously tearing at Snake's neck.
