the soft flame point turned herself so she could see the small kit a bit easier, . "well hailkit, my kits should be here any day now." her voice always sounded a little strange to anyone new, due to her broken jaw, and even frightened some from the scar.

Pumpkinpatch's lips curled up in a wide smile, happy that she had woken up in time to join a patrol, rather than sit around and wait for orders to be given "Thank you, Thistlestar." The fluffy she-cat looked toward the warriors named off, her eyes lingering on Softtail and his apprentice, who also seemed to have awoken a bit later than normal. She made her way over to the two and gave the white tom a small dip of her skull in greeting as the apprentice hopped away toward the fresh-kill pile, a friendly smile crossing her maw "Good morning."

Rainpaw let out a small sigh of relief, his muscles relaxing at his mentor's easy-going and nonchalant remark "Awesome. Thank you Softtail.". The slate-colored tom chuckled lightly, his head nodding quickly as the older tom gave him a slight nudge. Rainpaw trotted away toward the pile, giving the tortoiseshell fae a small 'hello' on his way over. He searched through the pile for a moment before picking out a small mouse and bringing it back over to the two warriors, his gaze focused intently on his meal as he devoured it.

Baypaw rolled over onto her side, not wanting to get up. She disliked having to stay in the apprentices den, being the oldest it was annoying having to listen to the chatter of everyone else while they were meant to be sleeping. She grunted as she sat up, searching the den, some apprentices remained asleep while others were either awake in their nests or out with their mentors already. After a quick grooming she made her way to the den entrance, "Good morning," she dipped her in in a greeting to the other apprentices before padding out into the open. She looked around hoping to catch sight of Nightcloud, her gaze swept through the different cats already up and soon stopped as it reached the nursery. He seemed to be waiting for his son, Blackkit. "Morning Nightcloud," she mewed, "What are we doing today?" She secretly hoped it would be her final assessment but she would never get her hopes up.

The orange pelted tom made his way out of the warriors den, the morning seemed to be quite slow but when he spotted Cloverpaw heading out the apprentices den, he was grad he wouldn't have to wake the young molly up. "A nice morning isn't it?" He looked down at Cloverpaw, "Perfect to practice your hunting techniques." He mewed. "Are you ready? I wanted to try get a nice and early start to the day."

He rolled his silver eyes at Blackkit, then turned to look at his apprentice Baypaw "well, hm?" He meowed thoughtfully, giving a small nod to Grayflower who told him to go with his apprentice "alright, thank you, I will come to see my lazy son later again" he meowed to them. He turned back to Baypaw "you're 13 moons old, so is there still something you need to practice about? or are you ready to do your assessment for me?" he asked.

She started to eat the mouse Nightcloud was brought to her, flicking her ears toward Baypaw "just go with your apprentice Nightcloud, I will take care of Blackkit, don't worry" she meowed to him her eyes looking over at Blackkit "Blackkit, it's breakfast time" she called for her adoptive son. She then looked after Hailkit "You too Hailkit?" she meowed signalling for her daughter to come to her. Sighing she didn't want her daughter to bother the heavily pregnant queen Honeyjaw, knowing that she needed some rest and she didn't want her kit to be a reason for her too early birthing.

She was being already awakened and on her way out of the apprentice's den, she was going to sit down to wait for her mentor but didn't really have a time for that when the multicoloured warrior made his way to her "Good morning Ryestrike, you're a second too late..." she meowed jokingly, but then nodded to his other questions "yeah, this day sure is good for that" she said to him.

He looked at his sister talking with her mentor Ryestrike, then he turned to see what his own mentor was doing, seeing her talking with the leader and some other cats. He realized it very soon that they were likely going for some kind of a patrol, as most mentors and their apprentices were there 'hmm, Am I going for that patrol too?' he thought himself. He didn't want to miss it so he walked over to his mentor "Hello Pumpkinpatch, are we going for a patrol?" she asked the long furred warrior.

Hailkit blinked her eyes in surprise "any day now? really?" she meowed with more louder voice, but then quiet herself "Oh that's cool, do you know how many there will be? your tummy is very big, so there must be as lest ten kits" she meowed thoughtfully. Flicking her ears toward her mother calling for her, but she kind of ignored her for now, turning to Patchpaw, giving him a smile.

He stayed there watching the queens and his father, narrowing his eyes at Baypaw, who walked to take his father away from him. He did like Grayflower as an adoptive mother and Hailkit too, but he kind of hoped to have some more time with his father, so he was little jealous to Baypaw to have his daily attention. Flicking his ears to the grey queen "Oh food, coming" he meowed jumping up to his paws and a half run to the fat mouse "Hurry up Hailkit, or I don't leave anything left for you" he meowed swallowing his first bite.

"not quite, leopardtalon said i was carrying three but it feels like ten some days." she began to joke before she noticed grayflower had called out for her kits, and turned back to hailkit. "well little one, you'd better eat before you miss out on it all."

The young molly stared in awe at her mentor, My... My final assessment? She stood still as waves of emotions charged through her, I can be a warrior... But what if I don't pass... No, I can do it! She gathered herself up and took a deep breath trying to hide her excitement, "Yes, yes! I'm ready to do my assessment," Baypaw mewed. "Can we go right now?" She asked hoping they could leave very soon.

Ryestrike chuckled at Cloverpaws remark before padding to the entrance, "Well off we go then." He slid out of camp, hoping his apprentice was following, "We'll try the river, see if there is anything around there." He looked at his apprentice then started padding towards the water, his mouth open in case he could catch a scent of the prey and his ears were perked up hoping to hear the scuffling of the creatures.

The tortoiseshell warrior shot the brown tabby a small nod as he raced away to find his apprentice, her haunches lowering to the earth as she began to groom her forelegs, which seemed to be in worse shape than normal "Have any of you seen Nettlefrost this morning? he hasn't joined us yet.."
