[Love Soulless]

Soul nodded and went in the other direction, going at full speed now. She went up a little slope and saw a heard of bison in a small clearing. She ducked down behind a rock and waited till she saw Kione, waiting for his indigo head to pop out somewhere.

Kio slunk around to the other side of the herd, trying to blend in. Hah. He spotted a fat cow with a calf at her side chewing at the dying grass on the hard ground. He flicked his white tail, hoping Soul would see it and notice the pair he was slowly stalking towards.

[Dragoness]

Itzal had loped along behind Soul and Kione. His long legs and stride eating up the ground with ease. He my have been about the size of a bison him self but he could hold a steady run with ease. He ran down the far side of the bison heard so when Kione popped up he'd be right there.

Soul saw Kione's tail and smiled she went around the other side of the bison and her calf, she found a nearby bush, hid, and padded her tail twice on the ground, signalling him, wondering when they should attack.

Itzal flicked his snowy tail into the air to show the other he was in position. Completing the triangle around the bison the were creeping up on.

Kione flicked his ear once, twice. Then took two, careful steps towards the pair of bison, their thick fur blowing in the icy wind. He smiled, noticing the trio was downwind from the herd, they only needed to keep silent to pull off the kill.

Soul poked her head out from behind the bush, stepping out only one paw before flicking her tail at Itzal to beckon him.

Kione's brows lowered when the calf lifted its shaggy head. They had caught on. They couldn't wait for Itzal's signal, Kione pounced onto the cow. The calf would be too distracted to defend itself, if Soul went after it while Itzal helped him with the cow, or vice verse, the kill would be swift and clean.

Soul watched as Kione pounced and she did the same but she went for the calf. It fell over and her claws and weight hit it's side. The little calf let out a terrified moan/moo/whateveryou'dliketocallit.

The cow groaned when Kione's teeth ripped into it's neck, letting out an almost shriek at the cry of her calf. She bucked futilely, ending up crashing onto her side. Kione grabbed her ear between his teeth and held his paws to her neck firmly. With one swift heave, he pulled, snapping her neck quickly. He then turned to help Soul with the calf, though she seemed to be doing fine on her own.
