it had been a stormy night in leafbare, thunder normally crashing and a few bolts of lightning
shooting outside the forest, but once all the cats had fallen asleep, a bolt of lightning struck a
n unlucky tree, making it set on fire and crash down, scorching another tree, and another, and
another until the whole forest was caught in the fire. many cats woke up from the heat or get
ting themselves scorched. other cats were being woken up. as the cats of willowclan looked ar
ound for a place to escape, their leader selfishly ran off in what was once the entrance to the
camp. once every cat escaped they would have to get out of the burning forest, but how? the
cats of willowclan ran as fast as possible out of the forest. many cats were left with burn mar
ks and scorched skin, but most of them were alive, at least.

and their leader? the tom found a new home with a group of rogues, who resented the nearby
clan for their knowledge. though they aren't actually that important to the storyline.

willowclan, renamed tornclan by the ashamed deputy, once a close friend and mate to the lea
der, has set off to find a new home past the forest and even farther than the river and flat lan
ds past it. how will they find a perfect new home without the close guidance of starclan?

tornclan is currently resting in a small area of trees with a pond in the center
that leads into a nearby lake.

    smiths smiths are cats that make things for the claws
    associated with metals and stone. smiths also often work w
    ith fire. the main mentors are cats who train the apprentic
    es of smiths. the senior apprentices are more skilled and old
    er apprentices, ones close to becoming a full smith. senior a
    pprentices are often between 10-15 moons. beginner appren
    tices are newer smith apprentices who are between the ages
    of 6-9 moons.

    cats in research of animals research of animals
    is the research of animals other than cats. after a cat is done with traini
    ng in the subject they become a warrior, as research of animals also trai
    ns cats in combat and hunting. if a main mentor of the team dies or resi
    gns the most skilled of former researchers are asked if they will take ove
    r.

    claws claws are cats who hunt, fight, and patrol for the clan. claws
    can get armor and smaller weapons from smiths. claws often wear armo
    r when going into battle. claw extensions, weapons, and armor are only
    permitted for battle, and

    claws weapons and armor claws often have armor sets
    and weapons passed down to different cats, or fresh sets of everything.
    claws can carry thin armor with a bit of thickness or plain thin armor. ar
    mor is worn around the neck, face, legs, chest, and back, usually being
    thin so the wearer won't stumble from the weight. claw extensions stre
    tch around a cat's unsheathed claws and are also made to be sharper an
    d larger than the wearers claws. weapons are usually just stone cracked
    and sharpened into shards.
