riverstone rose to his paws, grooming his soft gray fur down. He padded into the center of camp, seeing he was one of the last cats awake with a frown. “Hello Flintfeather.” he meowed to the fellow tom.

moonflower glanced over and saw tigerwhisker with his apprentice. Maybe she could go with them? Maybe... maybe she could get silentpaw to train with them as well. She glanced around for her apprentice though she couldn’t find them.

xxxxxxThe tom nodded, "Okay, I suppose we could start off on a border patrol and hunt along the way, and once we're done with that we'll primarily hunt before making our way back." He watched her expression to see how she felt about it. He flicked his tail softly and turned his head to see the cats she was talking about, and as he did a slimy glowing worm fell to the cave floor next to them.
xxxxxxHe made a disgusted face staring at the worm, but shook it off as he looked around to consider who else could join the patrol.

xxxxxxCopperflame woke up suddenly, he had a dream of himself falling from a tree after leaping for a bird. He grumbled to himself for a second before realizing most cats were already awake an outside of the thick branch walls of the warriors' den, and rushed out. He made an effort to seem casual so no one would notice, which they probably wouldn't have, anyway.

xxxxxxThe small she-cat made her way out of the apprentices' den pretty early, she disliked being cooped up and so close to the other cats, and sleeping around them made her a bit nervous. She saw Blackclaw go into the nursery, to talk to creekrose, she assumed. She didn't really enjoy her mentor much, and she thought his mate seemed a bit lazy to be a queen instead of helping the clan by being a warrior, but otherwise she didn't care all too much. It was their choice, and if he had potential to help the clan raise kits, it'd be quite fine.
xxxxxxSoftpaw padded over to the nursery, waiting for her mentor so they could go out and do some training.

The white molly hummed in response to the leader's reply and watched her as she went down to talk with the other warriors. As she watched, she couldn't help a small feeling of loneliness worm its way into her heart. She knew she could never be a warrior, but she longed for the feeling of being one. Yes, being a medicine cat was her destiny and it was her calling, but it could often be a lonely job as she only had her apprentice and the cats of StarClan to truly keep her company.

As he awaited his apprentices response, he noticed some odd signalling from the younger tom and tilted his head curiously at what they could mean. As he continued to watch him, he looked off to see where he was looking at and let out a silent 'ahh' as he noticed the molly apprentice near the freshkill pile.

"How about you grab something to eat before? Can't have you hunting on an empty stomach," he hummed as he watched to see his apprentices reaction. The tom hoped that the younger cat caught on to his excuse and would use it to the full extent as he would look around and possibly chat with some of his fellow warriors.

The tabby woke up with a small snort as she did a large yawn before looking up at who woke her up, although her ears perked a little when she noticed who it was. "Mmhmm? Is it already time to wake up?" The molly said in a sleepy voice as she rose to her paws and did a small stretch in her nest, yawning again as she looked around.

The black tom woke up with a small start, he was dreaming of running and suddenly the ground he was running on disappeared and he was falling and falling and falling....shaking his head to clear the remains of his nightmare, the cat walked out of the den carefully before sitting in front and starting on the process of grooming his fur. He was thankful that he didn't have a heavy or fluffy coat because getting the small strands of moss would be a horrible thing to go through everyday.

The apprentice then looked up and noticed his mentor gazing around the camp, his ears perked a bit in amusement at having the older molly not seeing where he was located at. The black cat had debated on walking over to her, but decided on letting the warrior try and notice him.

Creekrose woke up to the scent of Blackclaw "Good morning" he purred as he dug his muzzle into his mate's fur, the tom saw the piece of prey "Ah, Thank you" he meowed as he started to eat before noticing Softpaw "Go train your apprentice, I'll be fine" Creekrose whispered into his mate's ear as he started to eat

She kept her eyes to her sister Risingpaw, who was talking with Creamflower to the fresh-kill pile, as she didn't want to look around as she was afraid to have eye contact with Newtpaw. Corner of her eye, she saw that the young tom apprentice was looking at her way, which made her even more nervous and started to hope her mentor could show up soon to take her away from this awkward situation.

She blinked her eyes and looked over to the queen "Yeah, I kind of had to take? I am medicine cat apprentice and someday I will become a full medicine cat, then I need to know everything or cats will die" she meowed flattering her ears as she started to think about it. Shaking her head before finished her bird "So what about you? Are you okay? I mean...you lost your kits...it's can be very...depressing" she meowed silently.

He looked over the other warrior walking to talk with him "Hello Riverstone...are you waiting for patrols as well?" he meowed silently, he was not really good about starting any conversations and this made him feel a little bit stupid.

Creamflower listens to Risingpaw's question and sighs, closing her eyes as she thinks about that sad memory of losing her kits last leaf-bare. "I was depressed for a while when I lost my kits." she said. "I wont lie to you about that. But I know all I can do now is to move on and hopefully I will get a second chance to have a family again."
