- "The true nature of leadership isn't power, it's kindness."
xxxxxxx
Larch was laying on his nest, curled up in a soft ball of black and white fur. With a twtiching ear, he shifted his spot on the moss as he was hearing the birds chirping. A softy ripple laid on the tom's skin as he tried to wake up. He wasn't really the kind of cat that got up right away in the morning. Opening his soft eyes, he slowly got to his paws, sitting himself down to flatten out some of the fur that had spiked up over night. Why's it got to be so messy? The tom shook his head, adjusting his fur before looking over at the light of the clearing outside. His eyes looked over at his den mates, clearing the lump in his throat. After that, he turned as he let himself walk in a steady pace out into the sunlight. Clear as day, he could see Rainstar looking around for something. He's most likly looking for a patrol, his leg was slightly sore from the training he tried to tame with his apprentice Creampaw. No matter...at least he wasn't clumsy enough for that...medicine cat stuff. He couldn't imagine that. He let himself sit down somewhere to look over at the apprentice den. Maybe Creampaw would be up soon? Eitherway, he wasn't going to find out for himself for long, he guessed. Patrols were very important and he oddly got chosen for hunting patrols specficly. Why would it have to be him doing that?

- "We all have a blight to depend on."
xxxxxxx
Running let out something like a mix of a yawn and a yowl. She wasn't really in the mood to be waking up this early, but if it ment training...She rose from her paws quicker then yesterday, letting the sun dim from the apprentice den onto her brown pelt. Wonder if Brackenfur was up? And...she wasn't wrong. Just as she bonded out of the den, ready for herself because she didn't flatten her pelt or get anything out yet, she flexed her paws before quickly walking over to Brackenfur. The poor tom, always getting her almost loud voice. Escpecially at sun-high? Even she was a bit annoying sometimes.
"Hey Brackenfur! What a bright day-" she started to mew on, "Is there training today?" She just looked at him, almost eager as always. She wanted to be deputy, so badly. Well, she wanted to always be great. Ever since she opened her eyes to the light for the first time, since the mock that she used to be "Mousepaw", she wanted to prove the other cats how wrong they were.

- "Silence is more powerful then you think."
xxxxxxx
Newt wasn't...exactly in a good mood. At all. He was, until the loud mewing of Runningpaw broke his sleep. How lovly. He hadn't really accepted her behavior, but what ever works. As long as he's not judged for why he should. The tom was getting to his paws, a pretty blank look on the apprentice since he was just plainly not in the mood. The ruffling of his moss bed from him adjusting it and picking out bits and taming his fur, he wasn't like Runningpaw with her "just get up and go". He was more careful then her, at least to a standerd. She usually does, he's seen it. Just not really the brightest in the sky, hm? Sometimes he wonders if that's a mockery to himself. After all, if the clan thinks you turned "mute" ever since kit hood, you might want to re question your logic. That's the great thing about it. He liked his silence. It was more direct this way. As he stepped out of the den, he could clearly see Runningpaw mewing away to he mentor. And that's when you annoy them in the morning. He held in his odd laughter, usually no cat heard him laugh. Sometimes he almost does though. They sounded more like a choking sob almost. Annoying indeed.
Anyways, the apprentice padded out anyways, not minding waking up his denmates. They most likly already were from Runningpaw. His oddly gray eyes looked around the camp clearing, seeing that Rainstar was alone. He thought a moment, before walking over to the leader. Sitting down with his tail over his paws, he gave his usual nod of "good morning" or just a hello you could say. His eyes looking back over at the clearing, eyeing the fact that Larchslip was pretty alone. Let him be, Rainstar might walk over with me anyways. He wasn't exactly a medicine cat, but he could simpily tell. It was always that way. His eyes were adjusting to the fact that he hadn't noticed Robinfeather yet till now. Sigh...he doesn't always pay attention. He was most likly too busy with Runningpaw's loud voice.
