this old clan lives in a large area, as for a large clan. jaggedclan rule
s the whole area, including the flower fields, mountains, and forests.
it all seems great on the outside, but many jaggedclan cats are arrog
ant and smug as they have so much land to hunt and live on. jaggedc
lan is a clan that has no beliefs in starclan, and believe in that of cats
of the land. if a cat is buried under a tree, they shall become tree spi
rits. if a cat is buried by a lake or dock, they will become a water spir
it. if a cat is buried in the flower field, the cat will become a sun spiri
t, as the sun shines over the clear fields of flowers, and if a cat is buri
ed in the mountains, which is only done for rulers of the clan and occa
sionally skilled warriors and deputies, they will become tall spirits. fin
ally, if a cat is ever to be buried anywhere in-between, they will becom
e dim spirits, as bury a cat anywhere in-between means that they are u
nworthy of any formal spirit rank.

jaggedclan is indeed an old clan, almost ancient, and once in a while, a
whole year is put to focus on passing laws and the crowning of a new rul
er. the year has already started, but the new ruler is ignorant and selfish,
wanting the clan for themself. jaggedclan must rid of this ruler and his fo
llowers, or face two years with a terrible ruler.

003. kits must have their mother or father's first name taken on as a last na

006. a ruler is to reign for no more than two years or 24 moons. if a ruler lose
s their nine lives before it is time for a new crowning, a crowning for the form
er rulers eldest kit will be held, or otherwise their deputy if the former rulers
have no kits or their kits are not skilled warriors.
007. if a cat is a rogue or loner joining the clan they will not take on a last nam

jaggedclans camp resides in the mountains, though most hunting of usual prey
is done in the fields, forests, and moorland. the leaders den is an elevated platform th
at stretches out into a long, sharp ledge. that is called sharp-ledge. the leaders den ac
tual den is a cave that can fit about three cats and four kits. the cave is shared with th
e deputy, the rulers mate, and possibly the rulers kits. the messengers sleep in a small
cave that has a tiny whole where water drips in from puddles and the pond. the medic
icine cats den is another cave, the fourth largest behind the warriors, apprentices, and bi
rdkeepers. the entrance to the den looks unwelcoming and gloomy, but the inside is a s
weet-smelling, spacey cave with a small hole at the top where sun and moonlight flows
in. the herbs are stored in small patches of moss and leaves in small and large cracks on
the walls. the warriors den is a semi exposed cave of the mountains, but the low
est point in the mountains, just barely up more than the nursery cave. the cave is dirtfl
oored in some places and tall grass protects the entrance. the birdkeepers den is one
of the largest dens, each nest being doubled for the keepers and their birds. the cave is
surrounded by a nice creek that you need to hop over to enter. the apprentices den is
merged with the entrance of the nursery, a wall separating the dens halfway through wi
th a stone wall.

the spirit marsh is a marsh that holds all of the good spirits. it is in the middle of the
fields, and right in the center is a pile of rocks that sparkles and shines during all times
of the day and night. to dream and get prophecies, once must touch their paw to the
rock.

the mountains loom above and are right next to all of jaggedclan's main food sources.
the mountain camp is just above the forest, which stretches into the moorland and fl
owerfields on the right.

(common) birds - birds, often owls, hawks, or the occasional eagle, can often be threatening to t
he clan, but usually only an individual cat, normally kits or apprentices picked off.
cougars (rare) - although these big cats usually reside in their mountains, jaggedclan often never ge
ts a cougar near their cats and camp.
bears (uncommon) - bears are still predators to the cats, though jaggedclan *usually* knows to stay away.

the ruler: the ruler is the leader of the clan and often rules for about two years or 24 moons.
birdkeepers: birdkeepers are what their name implies, birdkeepers. these cats train birds. su
ch as crows, owls, and the occasional hawk. birdkeepers are chosen specifically by the medicin
e cat once a birdkeeper spot opens up. birdkeepers go everywhere with their birds and do the u
sual warrior duties. most birds are sacred to jaggedclan, and never hunted unless a threat.
messengers: messengers are special cats who go far away to scout out potential threats an
d messages from outsiders. they return to the mountains once their job is finished with all the me
ssages.

frost night
the frost night is a night that comes mid-leafbare when the marsh rocks shine and sparkle the bright
est. all cats over five moons come to the spirit marsh and speak with the spirits. the birds are often
left with their keepers to protect kits.
