Speckledmoon wasn’t the one to try to threaten, nor try to show dominance, but in this situation she felt as if she had no choice. She couldn’t figure out what the cat would do, or how he’d react. There were too many possibilities, and all of them seemed to end horribly. This cat’s sinister grin and attitude had frightened Speckledmoon, and left her on edge.

“You’re looking for Hawkstar, hmm?” Speckledmoon straightened up and her fur flattened against her back. Her lip was curled into a snarl, as she tried to seem more commanding than she felt. “Since Hawkstar is not here, I shall speak on his behalf.” What is wrong with this cat? He’s so empty, I’ve never seen a cat like him? He doesn’t... seem... it seems like he’s not alive? Speckledmoons thoughts raced as she spoke. “I am Speckledmoon, the deputy of Waveclan. If you truly wish to join the clan, you will do it on my terms.” What if he challanges me? I can’t fight, I can only think. That’s all I’m good for. Thinking. Great in situations like this, ha. I hope Lilypool doesn’t mind. I’m so useless. “You will face us on the ground. You will not harm any cat on this territory. I don’t trust you, so you’ll stay here while one of us gets our leader. Leaving or arguing with us will result in you being banished from our territory. We do not trust you.”

Speckledmoon snarled, and tried to keep her composure. She rarely had to be this stern. Once in a while if her apprentice needed scolding or if something was going wrong she’d act like this, but that was very rare and only in dire circumstances. Would I have to act like this more often if I was a leader? Speckledmoon didn’t like that thought. She enjoyed being playful and liked her pointless thoughts. She didn’t enjoy having to act like this. Perhaps it wasn’t even acting, maybe it was just a different part of her that she wasn’t aware of until now.

Re: 3 hawkstar | 8 russetpaw | 9 wolftail | 3 panther

PANTHER
male . forty moons . loner- former warrior . location, forest . tags, littlewing
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

panther froze. pregnant? "pregnant.." he repeated the young warrior, his throat dry, and he shortly after sat down. his ears lowered slightly as he looked at the ground. a million thought ran through the tom's mind. would hawkstar allow for him to go back to clan? he looked back up at littlewing, standing back up. "will you.. will you take be to see hawkstar?" he asked.

Littlewing
Warrior - 24 moons - Tom - Waveclan Territory / Camp - Tags: Panther

Littlewing let out a sigh of relief that his announcement hadn’t seemed to anger the other tom. “Of course.” He replied softly with a small nod. “Come with me.” The young warrior scooped up the two small fish he had set aside earlier and led Panther down the path until they arrived in the camp.
“Wait here.” Littlewing gestured with his tail before hastily depositing his catch next to the prey pile. He then turned to approach his leader, who was sitting with Shadeheart. The young tom stood nearby and waited for Hawkstar’s attention, his short tail twitching nervously.

Willowbee
Warrior / Queen - 36 moons - She-cat- Waveclan camp - Tags: N/A

A familiar scent wafted past the queens nose, jolting her out of her thoughts. ‘... Panther?’ Willowbee couldn’t think why her old mate would be returning, nor if she was happy to see his long black figure appear from the path. Of course, she still had feelings for him, and often found herself missing his soft pelt pressed next to hers at night, but he was a rogue now. The she-cat never expected there to be a realistic way to stay with him after he left the clan, as much as she wanted it. All these thoughts and more raced through her mind as she saw him linger in front of the entrance while the warrior who escorted him approached Hawkstar. Willowbee knew she could only sit, wait, and hope not to be noticed until she knew how to react.

name ; boneblossom
age ; 38 moons
rank ; warrior
apprentice ; moonpaw
location ; camp
tags ; Ashstrike
Boneblossom smiled down to the tom. "A boarder patrol needs to be arraigned. would you mind, setting one up. I cant find speckledmoon to arrange one. She must be out of camp already." The she-cat mewed. Though to be perfectly honest, she didn't look all that hard for her.

name ; Shadowpaw
age ; 10 moons
rank ; med-cat app
mentor ; ripplesong
location ; med-cat den
tags ; moonpaw
Shadowpaw was silent most of the walk. He rarely had much to say. You could call him a stoic cat if nothing else, but hearing a soft 'uhm' made his ears alert with attention. He flicked them like he was brishing off a pestering fly. Listening to her question carefully, he probably should have told her at the earliest moment of what they were looking for so she can keep an eye out in case she saw any. "Oh, that's on me. I should have told you when I invited you along." He said kind of embarrassed, and he wasn't sure why. It's unlike this cat to be so emotional. "Here's a list of things we need : Dandelion because it's spring and spring brings bees, and dandelion helps soothe the pain from a sting. Heather nectar, it helps sweeten the bitter taste of other herbs that clan cats need to swallow. as well as marigold, which stops bleeding and infections. I have most of my herbs. I'm pretty on top of things, but I guess I let my duties get away from me these past moons." Shadowpaw shrugged in a blatant attempt to cover up that he let things get away from him. He opened his jaws to say something else but quickly closed them as he felt the words he would say would be unnecessary.

name ; Drift
age ; 49 moons
ranks ; Rogue
location ; fresh spring
tags ; speckledmoon, lillypool
Drift starred down at the young deputy, unamused that she was trying to force him to come down and face them on the ground. He slightly raised his eyebrows, but only briefly when this molly tried to intimidate him. "No need to speak on his behalf, go on. go get him. I'll wait." He handed out a smug smile. "No worries 'deputy', I did not come to harm the clan, I came to join."He about jumped down her throat when she threatened a banishment, but drift held his composure. Rage sparkled in his eye but returned with a cold stare down at the black and white female and Siamese male.
Drift was a rather large cat with rather a lot of fur. Its a great defense against attacks, however it slows him down a lot. Drift listed his strengths and weakness in his head and played out the scenarios that could go down. I'm strong, I can out climb them and outfight them in the trees. however there is two of them, they are sleek, probably able to move quickly. Clan cats are usually good at team work, and these two seem quite acquainted. that will be a great pain for me. Clearly hiding is not my forte. so that's not an option. Push comes to Shove, there is only two of them... His goal though was to join Waveclan. and he couldn't do that with this stubborn she-cat standing in his path. But I also know that the clan is not in the forest, so I have to get on the ground and face them anyways. Think Drift, Think! A lot of things were going through Drift's mind. After gathering his next moves in his mind. He gave a child and a small chuckle. "Oh dear, where are my manners? I guess I've been alone too long that I've forgotten how to trust others. I will come down. I really do wish to join this clan." He purred. Drift rose from laying on the branch and walked to the trunk, slowly climbing down he joined the warrior and deputy on the ground.

name ; Stonepaw
age ; 10 moons
rank ; apprentice
mentor ; littlewing
location ; fresh-kill pile
tags; rosepaw, ivypaw, nettlepaw
Stonepaw was shocked to see Russetpaw run off, but he didn't bother chasing her. "Well, that got out of paw quickly." He mewed. Hearing Ivypaw say that it could be fun brought a little bit of hope back into his eyes. "That's the spirit!" He meowed with enthusiasm. "Or we can explore anything you want. I just want to leave camp." He said honestly.

Sunstep♀ - Age: 17 moons - Location: forest - Tags: Wolftail -

Pausing, Sunstep glanced over at Wolftail. She gave her a curious gaze before the scent hit her, and she understood the situation. She wanted to ask what to do, but decided that it would probably be better if she stayed quiet. Her tail flicked back and forth softly as she watched her surroundings in case a foreign cat popped out of the bushes.

Squirrel woke with a start at the rustle of leaves. Prodding Snow awake, they creep outside. Glancing at each other, they both knew what the other was thinking, WaveClan cats. "Show yourself," Squirrel said, though her voice was oddly calm and respective.

littlewing

After she'd deposited the catmint in the medicine den, Ripplesong padded out of her den, perhaps to talk to Hawkstar or find something to do. As she approached her ginger leader, she started to speak. "H-" she began, but her voice failed her as she caught sight of Panther and Littlewing padding into the camp. She knew that Panther had once been a part of the clan, but he was a rougue, and she still didn't trust him. She sat down near Hawkstar and a low growl rumbled in her throat. Her tail twitched violently and she angled her ears back, fixing him with a distrustful gaze. "Why is he here?" she whispered to herself. Stop it, Ripplesong. she thought. He's Willowbee's mate, for the love of starclan. She knew that she, as the medicine cat, shouldn't judge other cats, but she couldn't stamp down the curl of hostility that rose in her chest.

Rosepaw shifted her ginger paws as her mentor spoke to her. "Nettlepaw pounced on me in the den. But I got him back." She grinned, looking over at Stonepaw and Ivypaw. Look at them! she thought, but didn't say anything to Lakefur. Rosepaw looked back at the gray warrior. "Should we go now, or can I go exploring for a bit?" Rosepaw liked going on her own little 'patrols', scenting the air and leaping near the waves.

    Scarlet actually rather liked this territory. It was far more beautiful than any she’d encountered before, and she could hear the prey scattering through the surrounding bushes. If only that clan wasn’t residing there, she would have settled down for a while. Not wanting a confrontation, Scarlet continued to make her way through the vast territory.

Littlewing
Warrior - 24 moons - Tom - Waveclan camp - Tags: Panther, Hawkstar

Littlewing's pelt burned with embarrasment as he felt the eyes of seemingly every cat in the clan staring down at him. He gulped nervously at hearing Ripplesong's growl, fearing that others would share her distaste. The young warrior stood his ground, tail still twitching, and spoke up. "... Hawkstar?" He announced his presence with a shaky meow. "We have a visitor, he asked to talk to you."

    lilypool ; gender: m ; rank: warrior [apprentice: galepaw] ; location: forest/stream ; tags: speckledmoon, drift

    Lilypool's ear twitched as Speckledmoon stepped forward to speak, watching her before his eyes settled back on Drift. Go get Hawkstar? Leaving one of them alone with the loner..? He didn't think very much of the idea, but he also supposed it made more sense to fetch him on the outskirts of the territory rather than lead a potentially dangerous cat to camp. But, still. There, we'd have plenty of cats to defend everyone. But...thinking about it fairly, he'd know how to get there again. That would leave us more vulnerable.

    He watched closely as the slimy loner purred and slid down the tree, his eyes narrowed - but he simply glanced at his deputy once more, dipping his head.
    "Would you like me to go get Hawkstar, or stay to watch the loner?" he mewed, tail swishing slowly, patiently. He'd be fine either way; he was a fast runner, and a fierce fighter, should the cat try to take advantage of the lessened forces against him. In fact, I'd love digging my claws into this useless lump of fur, should he try anything, he thought dryly, but simply watched Speckledmoon and waited for her orders.

    moonpaw ; gender: f ; rank: apprentice [mentor: boneblossom] ; location: forest ; tags: shadowpaw

    "O-oh, no...um, it's fine," she replied quickly, shaking her head. "I should have asked sooner.." Moonpaw listened to Shadowpaw's careful descriptions, tipping her head once more. "Okay. I'll try to keep an eye out." She honestly had no idea what any of these herbs looked or smelled like - but she would try her best to be of use, so she simply tagged along beside him while glancing around. "It's...um, it's responsible of you to collect herbs so much. But...Ripplesong is the medicine cat too. It isn't your fault if some things didn't get done. I'm sure you were just busy..." Which...well, she wasn't blaming Ripplesong, but if it had been urgent, then surely Shadowpaw's mentor would have instructed him to collect the herbs sooner. He shouldn't be clawing himself over it.
    please stop asking me to give you my viscets. thank you!

    Otterleap || Tom || Warrior || 36 Moons || Crush;; Open || Apprentice;; Saltpaw || Tags;; Saltpaw
Otterleap, once he raised his head from his nest as soon as he woke up. Everyone was already up and functioning, but he had overslept. Most cats would feel embarrassed by this, but Otterleap didn't panic, slowly sitting up and grooming the bits of his nest that clung to his short pelt. Once he felt properly ready for the day, he raised to his paws and walked casually out of the warriors' den, light green eyes carefully scanning camp. He quickly noticed his silver-furred apprentice, Saltpaw. He walked over to the young tom, clearing his throat. "Good morning, Saltpaw. Ready for today's training?" His eyes slid over to the freshkill pile that Saltpaw was staring bitterly at, crowded by apprentices. He and Saltpaw both missed out on breakfast. He returned his attention back to Saltpaw, keeping a cheerful attitude.
"Well, looks like we'll have to hunt for our own breakfasts. Perfect opportunity for hunting training, eh?"

    Galepaw || Tom || Apprentice || 10 Moons || Crush;; Open || Mentor;; Lilypool || Tags;; Open
Galepaw noticed sun beaming down on his eyelids, jolting awake once he processed that sunlight meant it was daytime. He frantically looked about the den, noticing that the other apprentices weren't there. He overslept, of course. He would only be an apprentice for a few more moons, he couldn't afford to slack off. He hurriedly got up, stretched out his stiff limbs, and groomed through his long, silky grey fur. He rushed out of his den, skidding to a halt once he was in the center of camp, searching out the familiar figure of his mentor, Lilypool. However, his heart sunk as soon as he realized that Lilypool was nowhere in sight. He had no choice now but to wait for his return, and nervously apologize for not waking up early. Mopily, he found a spot within the camp and sat down by himself.

    Blackbird || She-cat || Queen || 28 Moons || Mate;; Lilypool || Kits;; Expecting || Tags;; Open
Blackbird's eyes fluttered open, senses flooded with light and the dull chatter of her clanmates outside. Her jaws gaped open in a yawn, looking around the nursery. She had only just moved into this den, and admittedly, it was a weird feeling not waking up in a crowded den. Not sleeping right next to Lilypool, or not being woken up by the sound of warriors' paws shuffling across the den. He did see Willowbee up, staring out the entrance. She couldn't quite see what she was looking at, but she decided it was better not to distract her, whatever it might be. She slowly sat up, taking her time with grooming her pelt. She assumed that since Lilypool hadn't dropped by yet, he was currently busy with his warrior duties. No matter, she would have time to spend with him later on in the day.

    Seaglass || Tom || Loner || 24 Moons || Crush;; Open || Tags;; Open
Seaglass woke up on his own time, the way he liked it. He yawned, stretched out, and gave his short pointed pelt a quick grooming, before lazily meandering out of his little den, made from a hole underneath a pile of rocks. He paused as his eyes adjusted to the sudden light, then carried on, his stomach growling. With that sound, he raised his head up high and scented the air, searching out any scents of prey or even any cats. His ears soon picked up on the sound of birdsong nearby, and with light pawsteps, weaved through obstacles to find the source. A songbird was on the ground, pecking at the ground in search of its food. He crouched down and waited for the perfect time to pounce, and once he found the opportunity, he leaped forward, landing on the bird and quickly ended its life.
He grabbed his freshly killed prey by its neck and found a dry and warm spot to begin eating his breakfast, ears perked in case anyone or anything decided to approach him.
