Lightpaw lashed out at Lionpaw as he shouldered past her with a sheathed paw as she hissed, "Watch it!" She wondered in bitter disdain why her whole clan seemed to be afraid of the apprentice, and no bossy, seemingly understood cat was going to succeed in instilling fear in her heart. She was simply too strong willed to cower in fear. She had overheard almost everything the leader and the apprentice had talked about, and Lightpaw knew for a fact she would be able to fight off any sort of evil that could try and cloud her mind. So what if he was having trouble being understood? She wasn't fitting into this clan, and nobody seemed to care about her! The svelte she-cat stalked further into the apprentice's den and didn't bother to even glance at her leader.

Rainwish purred in laughter and couldn't help but glance back into his vibrant azure eyes. She padded beside Sleetfur and as he got the rabbit from the fresh kill pile, she sprawled out comically onto the ground, careful not to hurt her back leg, which hurt the worst, in the process. Pawing at the spot next to her with a grin, the happy looking she-cat motioned for Sleetfur. There was a sudden joking humor in her eyes as she asked, "hey Sleetfur, could I tell you something?"
