Myriadia
Long ago, when humans first settled in the regions of our world; Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos and Alola, we discovered that the world was truly full of these amazing creatures. - Pokémon. Many humans dedicated their entire lives to learning all they could about these mysterious and unique creatures, others spent their time living among them and finding a peaceful coexistence with them. The world prospered and thrives in the ideals of a utopian world where man and beast lived in harmony.
Yet all was not well...
Eventually, man fell prey to the simplest of sins, Greed. People began using Pokémon as tools to further their agenda, naught more than pawns. Pokémon was hunted as trophies or used as fodder in wars among the humans. So many, of both people and Pokémon, fell in these battles. One could say it nearly ended the world. It was then that a peace treaty of sorts was agreed upon, that the world would strive to live in harmony once again, doing their best to protect both people and Pokémon from ever being hurt like that again.
This is where our story takes place.
Welcome to Myriadia, a region lost to time and definitely not found in the historical books. This region has faded from the halls of history because, unlike its brethren regions, Myriadia never took part in the Great War. The region refused to fuel the fire, and withdrew from all outside contact. This was many years ago, and since then there have likely been other wars, other great casualties among the regions’ almost constant one-up-manship.
There is only one reference of Myriadia in known texts that was found in the depths of the ocean, off the coast of Alola, and it read;
Beyond the sea,
Far away it waits for me,
Safe from danger,
An isle calls to me, a stranger,
To reach such a place,
You must chase,
An eve of fog, do follow the Mantine east,
Sharpedo will block the way, desperate for a feast,
Trust in the Dewgong and swim south,
From there you’ll find the Maw,
Enter the Mouth,
It will be more than you could have foresaw.

A team of Pokémon trainers, breeders and professors alike are all joining together in an expedition to search for the lost region of Myriadia. Do you have what it takes to join us? To experience a new role, new Pokémon and new tales just waiting to be told?
Rules;
- All of Tess’ rules apply here.
- Genders of Characters will be kept as balanced as possible. Please do not post more than one of each unless explicitly given permission. Also, a higher guy to girl ratio is usually what is preferred. (Everyone likes being a girl and that usually means there’s barely any male characters. At least from my experiences)
- Please use the forms I provide, it makes navigation of the forms far easier for me.
- Character ages are important, none below 17 please, as this is a dangerous expedition to an unknown place. Kids really shouldn’t be tagging along for such things.
- This RP is a mixture of Pokémon and Romance, that means that both humans and Pokémon are allowed to experience relationships. Not humans x Pokémon though. That’s a no-no.
