Shadowpaw spots Swiftstar, with an unconscious cat and his apprentice. She pads up to him. "Hello, Swiftstar," she says, with a polite dip of the head. "I have come from StarClan to give you a warning." She narrows her eyes at him.

cherry lay on the floor, her breathing shaky and weak. Upon closer inspection you could see the fur on her flank wasnt normally that color it was much more red then it was supposed to be. The scabs on both sides of her flank had opened- maybe when she was startled earlier? they hadnt been well taken care of but because cherry doesnt know any herbal remedies she could only do the bare minimum, keep it as clean as she could.

shadowpaw shows up seeing swift over a dying body and shadow freaks out assuming the worst x.DD
Anyways anytime would be fine! I feel like a starclan cat would know where a leader is since the leader is close to starclan .v.

shrikeclaw jumped as a sudden pain shot through his tail, it wasnt enough to make him get up, it was like a bee sting or something small. When he looked down he saw a small red kitten "Wow emberkit!" he said, trying to hide a wince as the kitten bit into her tail again "you really showed it!" he continued with a pained smile, trying to flick the tail from the kitten's grasp but probably encouraging the small beast "you'll make a fine hunter some day!"

Swiftstar looked up, his eyes widening. “It’s you. The DawnClan apprentice.” He murmured. It was the only other Starclan cat he’d seen besides Stonestar. “What is your message? I must know quickly; this cat needs help.” He said, nudging Cherry gently.

The StarClan apprentice looks down at Cherry. She looks back up to Swiftstar. "Don't leave behind the rising of the sun." She gives a little purr then turns around and vanishes into the bushes. She closes her eyes and appears back in StarClan.

The new deputy was announced and Wolfstep was in the middle of the road on the decision, only because she did not know Copperfrost that well. But she had great faith in Swiftstar, and therefor had great faith in the new deputy. "Copperfrost! Copperfrost! Copperfrost!" She chanted with good nature. Wolfstep gave Fernpaw a grin, grateful for her company even though is only lasted a short while. Before she knew it, Wolfstep was also a mentor! 'Silverpaw, eh?' She searched the crowd for the fluffy she-cat. Giving Fernpaw a nod farewell, Wolfstep made her way to Silverpaw. "I hope you're ready to be tested." She mewed, and the broad warrior touched noses with the younger cat. Golden eyes were fixed on the smaller of the two. Wolfstep hoped she was an apprentice who would be willing to work and strive for success.

The tom went stiff for a moment when Spottedshadow mentioned 'the place you don't come out the same'. A grumble escaped his lips before he snapped out of it. Cedarshade flexed his front claws into the soft dirt as he thought about he excitement that being a warrior brought. A smile spread across his face when the tom looked at his patched companion. "Well, i'm glad that you came here as your original self." His yellow eyes sparkled with mischief. He wondered rather the she-cat would pick up on his attempt at some harmless flirting.

She heard the purr and knew maybe this arrangement would be okay. That she would be a decent mentor to the apprentice. She sat down a moment just to wait for Fernpaw to figure things out and looked to Adderstrike curiously. "So what are we to do first? Hm? A quick look around our new borders with the apprentices? A bit of hunt training or just battle?" she asked.

She seemed amused with herself a bit and lightly moved to scratch behind her ear before looking at him curiously. Tilting her head almost and finding the flirt almost amusing. A fail really. Yet she supported the effort and purred. "I am glad too. I wouldn't be of much use otherwise if I couldn't make a clan bigger Hm?" she mused playfully.

Flicking her tail softly she spoke to her apprentice "Before we start, I want you to think about your goals. A warrior must know what they want in order to obtain it. Think about what kind of warrior you want to be, and what you are willing to do to be that." Wolfstep's words may have been a tad intense for the new apprentice, but she thought them to be true. "Once you figure that out, we can really start. Feel free to ask questions and find me when you are done." The broad warrior turned and padded across camp, her head level with her back and tail out behind her. Wolfstep would start off strict with this apprentice, but planned on lightening up once Silverpaw displayed a thirst for knowledge and the drive to get it. The she-cats golden eyes picked out Blackclaw and veered to approach him after picking up a small mouse from the kill pile. She said nothing but gave him a greeting grunt before settling a few tail lengths away where she crouched to eat her meal.

Cedarshade swished his tail softly behind him as he faced Spottedshadow. "Not necessarily, he said and flicked an ear. "There is so much more you can do for the clan than just that." The warrior scrunched up his nose for a moment. He hoped that what he said did not come off offensive in some way. He knew that she had just been being playful, but he felt like he needed to say that. After all, he says what he thinks and means what he says.

She sort of paused whatever movement she had going for her when he spoke up. And looked him in the eyes as if she was...confused and yet slightly flattered. Good thing she had fur because she actually was warmed by his words. Feeling like she shouldn't gape at him she cleared her throat. "Oh. Well. Not many thing that so...ah...thank you?" she said and shook her head a bit. "I'm used to Tom's wanting to be the tough go getters if yiu know what I'm saying? Wanting Molly's or she-cats to merely be a den mother...its how I was raised anyhow. Not even a mate for life more just a fling and go for kits. So um I like your words saying there is a possibility of more?" she rambled and realized she was and sighed." Sorry I'm rambling and it doesn't even make sense. We're in a clan now. Of course she-cats and Tom's can be on the same level. Sorry" she hummed a bit.

Feathersong smiled fondly at her denmate as she acknowledged the apology. ”Don’t worry about it Ashfur, I will be glad when the kits are finally old enough to become apprentices. Even Petalkit and Blossomkit have started getting into mischief now and they were my gentlest kits. I don’t know what has gotten into them lately” she sighed as she shook her head slightly. It wasn’t even sunset yet and she was already ready to crawl back into her nest and sleep. She was amazed at how much more tiring it was to take care of four rambunctious kits than to do her warrior duties.

She smiled gratefully at Thrushwing and Ashfur when they filled her in on the meeting she missed. Before frowning slightly at the news of the other clans loss of an apprentice. ”Oh Starclan, they must be taking it pretty hard to lose an apprentice is a terrible thing.” she said softly as her heart went out to the young apprentice’s mother. She knew all to well the pain of losing one of her kits and wouldn’t wish that pain on anyone. Even if Nightpaw was not hers by blood she and her mate had practically raised him there selves so when he was lost it had been as if she had lost her own kit.

Emberkit grinned up at the warrior as he dug his tiny claws further into the furry appendage that was trying to flick it’s way out of his grip. He was incredibly proud of his catch especially when the warrior praised him. He carefully removed his claws from his prey after a few moments as he rolled back over onto his four paws and meorwed cheerfully as he started to lick one of his paws as he took a close look at the warrior noticing he looked tired. ”You look sleepy Shrikeclaw did you not get enough sleep last night?” he asked tilting his furry little head to the side wondering why the warrior looked so tired. He hoped that the other cat wasn’t getting sick.

He stretched carefully sheathing and unsheathing his claws gently scraping the dirt under his paws as he focused on the other cat wondering if he could convince the larger cat to play with him. Sometimes he wanted to play with someone besides his siblings and the younger apprentices seemed to always be to busy. He was bored and when he was bored he tended to get into trouble. He wondered if he could sneak off and help the elders while no one was looking. He knew he wasn’t supposed to do any work until he was an apprentice himself but he couldn’t understand why helping the elders was something he wasn’t supposed to do yet.
