Swiftstar dipped his head. “Of course. Follow us, and we shall lead you back.” He said, turning and slowly making his way back towards the camp. “I apologize we didn’t get to train as intended, Pebblepaw. Perhaps we can train back at camp? There is plenty of space.”

The StarClan apprentice watches through the bushes. Then starts stalking towards the three cats. She comes out of hiding and sits just outside of the Clan's entrance. This time not bothered if she's spotted. She gives a flick of her tail, making sparkles rise and go. She sighs and continues waiting, glancing back into the camp, seeing if she was noticed. If she was, however, she didn't know what she would do.

xxxxxx"Great!" Olivepaw smiled happily as Bramblefur teased her, letting little purr escape her throat. She is going to be an awesome mentor! Oli then turned expectantly to Fernpaw.

She heard the purr and knew maybe this arrangement would be okay. That she would be a decent mentor to the apprentice. She sat down a moment just to wait for Fernpaw to figure things out and looked to Adderstrike curiously. "So what are we to do first? Hm? A quick look around our new borders with the apprentices? A bit of hunt training or just battle?" she asked.

" I'm glad you speak your mind. As brutal as truth can be" she agreed and her ears lay back nervously at his questions but she knew she must answer. "Ah...i know we are a clan. I didn't mean to get snappy I just got upset...and Ahhh it was Blackclaw who got in a huff. But it's okay! I egged him on." she said quickly. "I only got a threat when he snapped and I called him a kit" she pointed out and flicked her tail nervously this time. "Really it's no big deal. Keep it on the down low? Maybe?" she asked sort of hopeful and gave him a nervous smile. "I know now to be cautious with who I tease and bicker with...now anyways. But to be fair he called me old and wouldn't help with a spot I couldn't reach on my shoulders" she huffed.

"Hah again" he mused lightly and stretched himself out once more. "Well then how about we go on ahead? Hm?" he spoke up more.

Ashfur shrugged. "How am I to know. I didn't follow the tail where it needed to go. You do it. You have all your legs and the ability to run if its something spooky" she mused a bit before almost falling over at the voice of her friend and denmate. "Ah feathersong! I'm sorry I didn't help you out this morning...i got a little side tracked" she apologized with a small dip of her head. "And the meeting is as Thrushwing says...a patrol went out and some apprentice in said other clan had gone to starclan. I'm not sure on the details but eavesdropping can get you places" she said and fixed her stance as she noticed the glittery figure move. Her ears went back a bit. "Maybe I should go check on the kits and make sure none are causing trouble...even in their sleep" she murmured and lightly rubbed against Feathersong and moved her way to the nursery. Not wanting to get mixed in with anything.

The new deputy was announced and Wolfstep was in the middle of the road on the decision, only because she did not know Copperfrost that well. But she had great faith in Swiftstar, and therefor had great faith in the new deputy. "Copperfrost! Copperfrost! Copperfrost!" She chanted with good nature. Wolfstep gave Fernpaw a grin, grateful for her company even though is only lasted a short while. Before she knew it, Wolfstep was also a mentor! 'Silverpaw, eh?' She searched the crowd for the fluffy she-cat. Giving Fernpaw a nod farewell, Wolfstep made her way to Silverpaw. "I hope you're ready to be tested." She mewed, and the broad warrior touched noses with the younger cat. Golden eyes were fixed on the smaller of the two. Wolfstep hoped she was an apprentice who would be willing to work and strive for success.

Cedarshade pondered her response. He knew some cats were hard to get along with and he knew that it was fun to pick at the ones that would give a response. "I understand." He said simply and dipped his head to the she-cat. The tom turned his pale yellow eyes to Spottedshadow as he spoke, a warm expression on his face. "I won't spread needless rumors." Cedarshade flicked his tail, wondering why Blackclaw would call her old. It made no sense to him.

She seemed to regard him a little and when he said he wouldn't spread rumours she let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding. "Thanks cedarshade." she slightly purred and looked about a moment before focusing on him again. "But other than the mishaps I probably cause I like it here. It's a family. I like having a family" she cooed almost fondly at the word. She had always been a cat that needed others around. She would have never done good as a loner really.

Cedarshade shifted closer to the she-cat as she spoke, hanging on to every word. "Family is good. I never knew mine, but I don't mind. I lived an easy enough life in my twoleg den. It just got a little lonely." He looked to her now, a mischievous grin appearing across his face. "Besides, I like adventure, mystery, excitement. This clan can offer me that." The sleek tom closed his eyes and rolled his shoulders, breathing in deeply. He had ached for something to be a part of for so long. It felt good to finally have that here.

She made her tail lightly flick at him as he got closer but more just to be a little playful than anything." I don't remember mine much...just their smell mostly. And Yea...very lonely" she agreed with a bit of a nod. "My two legs had a dog. It was small and would leave me alone but still not the same as a clanmate" she hummed. "Then I ran before they decided to take me to a place where you don't come out the same. That was a close call" she added and sort of laughed. "Excitement huh? Never a dull moment having to survive"

He carried the squirrel back to camp, and dropped it onto the freshkill pile, its brown fur blending in with the murky colours of the rest of the prey. He selected a plump white rabbit for himself, and settled at the edge of the camp, sheltered under some overhanging brambles.

Cherry dipped her head and followed the sound of pawsteps, her ears perked and her whisker forward as she followed swiftstar and pebblepaw- it was reassuring to hear the pawsteps of the other cat now, atleast she could tell where he was. She placed her paws down lightly and carefully as she walked, however despite her hesitant placing they still hurt ever time she placed one down, but she could hide a wince.
As the crew walked cherry found herself having more and more difficulty to pay attention, her mind continued back to the scratches under her fur and -for some reason- the sound of rustling leaves and grass. Suddenly her head went dizzy "uhm, h-hold on" she stuttered, stopping in her tracks "I'm sorry it's just..." her voice trailed off and she fell sideways, landing on the ground unconscious.

shrikeclaw jumped as a sudden pain shot through his tail, it wasnt enough to make him get up, it was like a bee sting or something small. When he looked down he saw a small red kitten "Wow emberkit!" he said, trying to hide a wince as the kitten bit into her tail again "you really showed it!" he continued with a pained smile, trying to flick the tail from the kitten's grasp but probably encouraging the small beast "you'll make a fine hunter some day!"
