The Clan lives in a large expanse of thick woodland. The forest which Oakclan claims as theirs has a river winding through the trees, splitting the territory in half. To the north, a single thunderpath is laid out, separating the forest from an endless stretch of fields and a lonely farm. The nearest two-leg place to the forest is many, many days away, and so not many two-legs nor kitty-pets are found wandering nearby. In the deepest part of the forest, is where Oakclan's camp is located. In the south-east corner of the woodland, the camp lies hidden along with a few other important places for the Clan, such as the Training Grounds. The Cave of Echoing Spirits is an cavern located next to the river that passes through the territory. Inside the cave, there are many stalagmites found, and pools of water on the floor. Cats use the water to connect with Starclan - they touch the water with their nose, drink it and fall asleep. Crystals and stones are also found in the cave, and certain rocks appear to faintly glow blue in the moonlight that filters through a crack in the roof. The Clan's camp itself is surrounded by large, strong barriers of brambles and thorns, and a tunnel is laid out, leading into the heart of camp. The elder's den is a gathering of rocks and shrubs located near the very entrance of camp, and just behind the den is a large cavern-like area surrounded by rocks, which cats have access to by a big crack in a rock. Lichen, ferns and vines crawl all their way around the boulders and rocks in the medicine cat den. In the very center of camp, is a large, mighty Oak tree, in which the leaders den is located in, through a hole in the roots which has a tunnel that leads into a underground den. The leader holds meetings and ceremonies on the branches of the tree. Just next to the oak tree is the fresh-kill pile. The warrior's den is a clump of ferns, rocks and bushes located next to a tree, and has dips in the ground which are lined with moss, where the warriors sleep in. On the other side of the tree, is the entrance to the apprentice's den. A tunnel located between the roots of the tree leads into a underground cave, and this is where the apprentices sleep. The nursery is located just behind the medicine cat's den, and is surrounded by walls of brambles to protect the queens and their kits from danger.

oakclan's creation - countless seasons ago
the prophecy - 15 moons ago
many seasons later, a strange prophecy arises. unknown to oakclan, a darkness is rising. long forgotten to the clan, the dark forest lingers in contempt and awaits for a chance to destroy oakclan from within. five young apprentices are destined to rid of the dark forest cats harassing the clan; sparrowpaw, moonpaw, fawnpaw, clawpaw and shadepaw.
the raid - 13 moons ago
after recruiting some local rogues to help fight with them, some of the dark forest cats attack oakclan camp while the medicine cats were on a trip to the cave of echoing spirits. weakening the clan, the raiders caused quite some damage to the prophecy five.
battle of the chosen - 13 moons ago
a few days later, another attack is launched on oakclan. this time the entirety of the dark forest residents join in, and it breaks into a devastating battle. oakstar joins in the fight, getting injured resulting in the starclan warrior nearly fading away. one of the rogues is killed, alongside a few oakclan cats and nearly all of the dark forest warriors. despite oakclan's losses, they had won; thanks to the strength and unity of the prophecy apprentices, as well as their warnings of the dark forest cats.
the rogues settle - 12 moons ago
finding the woodland territory, a group of rogues decide to settle in the dead of leafbare. at first appearing to pose no threat to oakclan, the clan does not interfere with the group apart from occasionally offering them help. the leader of the rogues was a manipulative tom called crow, who once he gained the complete loyalty of most of his cats, started stealing oakclan's prey and damaging herb supplies in an attempt to starve the clan and endanger it's future. only allowing his closest allies and himself to the stolen prey, his rogues eventually began to loose faith in crow. controlling his cats with the empty promise of food to do his bidding as well as keeping them too weak to rebel against him, crow's leadership was a heavy shadow over the rogues, and it soon got a lot darker for the cats.
