The Cabins in the Woods (A Stray Dog RP ~Accepting~)

Knight snarled as some of the raider dogs began to get excited as the human scent filled the air. He turned sharply on his paws, surprising the dogs that were following too close to him. He growled but looked to the group, meeting their nervous and hyper gazes. "If you cannot control yourselves, I will send you back to Vertigo and she will have another job for you." Knight grinned as the dog lowered themselves to the ground, showing the more dominant submission, and that they would stay. Knight nodded and lead them all again.

This time the group moved silently, as they snuck after Knight in one of the alleys that backed out in the forest. As they came close to a road with cars racing across it Knight stopped. He turned once again, but this time his eyes gleamed, and his eyes moved from dog to dog.

"You know what you are doing, now move out." He ordered, watching as the dogs split, many in small groups, while others alone to help guard. Quite a few of the older raiders, went along, wanting to earn themselves praise from Knight, and the other higher up dogs.

Knight himself disappeared, and watched the dogs. Making sure they were safe from the human weapons and their machines.

Garnet paced back and forth in her backyard. She knew it would be time soon. It always happened when the sun was in about that place in the sky. Beta would be home soon. Garnet loved her entire pack, but young Beta had a special place in her heart. Every day at the same time he went into the big yellow bus and every day at the same time he came home again on the same big yellow bus. She shook herself and tried to relax. Garnet turned and padded across her yard to the tall wooden fence that separated her from the forest behind her territory. There was a little knot-hole in the fence that she could look through. When she looked this time there was only a squirrel gathering nuts from the grass under a walnut tree. She was reminded for the rumors floating around. The local dogs would tell her not to go into the forest alone because dogs had been disappearing there of late. Some said it was bears, or rabid wolves, still others said even stranger things. Things like tiny green humans turning dogs invisible. Garnet didn't believe a word of it.

Shakera looked towards the Fighter's dens and sniffed the air around it. Something didn't smell right. She jumped down off of her cabin and walked over and the smell got stronger. She started running and entered one of the Cabins. She saw many of the dogs lying on the floor and caughing. Shakera shook and ran out. She called one of the Fighters over and asked breathlessly, "What happened here?" The Fighter stiffened and answered, "We, don't know." Shakera growled, "What do you mean? Why haven't you tried anything???"

Shakera looked towards the Fighter's dens and sniffed the air around it. Something didn't smell right. She jumped down off of her cabin and walked over and the smell got stronger. She started running and entered one of the Cabins.


((I hate to sound controling, but all of the older dogs share one cabin. That includes Shakerah, Raiders, Teachers and Fighters, all in the largest cabin.))

The pup lowered his head and tail and padded off to the cabin where new dogs and pups stayed.

Vertigo trotted back to her cabin and picked up the steak. Jumping onto the bed, she began to gnaw on it, thinking of the pup. He could be of good use to her in the future.

Knight grinned as he watched the raiders flee from behind buildings as they were catch in their act of stealing. Knight was about to cross the road, to go himself and grab something from one of the stores when he heard a car approaching. His golden eyes, flashed to a younger pup, trying to steal a ring of hot dogs.

The pup yelped as he was catch in the headlights of the car and closed his eyes shut in fright. Knight darted across the road with speed and grabbed the pup in his jaws.

((Sorry I have to leave, but I will post more later! ^^))

((Vertigo is evil, but most dogs in her pack aren't all that bad. I'm making a character that's in her pack, but is against her.))

Vertigo once again stared out the open window. The sun was still high in the sky, but it was past noon by now. Finishing the meat, she tossed the bone on the floor for later and curled up for a short nap.

Knight rolled, and dropped the pup as he landed back on his paws and came to a skiting stop. He glared at the pup, his lips curling up to show his unusually long and sharp teeth. "You know you are suppose to check for cars." He snarled, not impressed at all by this pup.

The pup was shaking, from almost getting run over, and now with one of the best dogs mad at him. "I'm sor-ry." He cried. "I thought it was clear..."

Knight growled, "Stop your crying." He ordered, "'Sorry's mean nothing when it is life and death. Now get back to camp before I cut your ears off." He grumbled, watching as the pup raced away, making sure to check for cars this time.

Knight was grumbling as he made his day behind the buildings where humans ate. Most of the other raid dogs were heading back with the guards and Knight was doing a last sweep of the place they raided this night. His nose twitched as he scented the area, and he flicked his ears for any sign of other dogs.

Shakera raced into Virgito's cabin and breathed heavily. "Virgito, there's a problem. Almost all the Fighters are sick, and a stench is comeing from their cabin." She lowered her head, "I don't know what to do."
