The Cabins in the Woods (A Stray Dog RP ~Accepting~)

Knight only nodded, and turned back to the raiding patrol as he saw they were ready. "Would you like me to join them?" Knight asked, his eyes sweeping over the dogs as they waited patiently for the Top Dog to give them permission to leave.

Shakera watched them leave, and kept watch as the Top Dog was away. She stood atop her den and watched the silent working of the daily workings. The pups and newbies were training in a clearing away from the main camp, and the fresh kill pile was in the center. The guard's dens were towards the main entrence to the camp, and two were patrolling it. The Hunters were away, but their dens were near Virgito's and Shakera's. The pups were near the dogs exspecting pups. Shakera watched with a crucal eye to detail.

((By 'dens' you mean cabins, right? The dogs don't live in dens, and I wasn't really aiming for entire parties of dogs to go out hunting, seeing that most started out as strays or pets.))

Vertigo nodded. "They'll need a gaurd like you, the humans have hired more dog catchers and they're on the alert. Don't let me down," she said, turning back to the pup. With that, she continued to walk to the other side of the bridge and towards the town.

Shakera notesed one of the Hunters inside of their cabins sleeping, "Probley out late hunting..." Shakera concluded, and decided not to punish the six that were there.

Knight nodded his head, and looked back at the pup with dark eyes before heading to the group of assembled raiders and the guards he had chosen. The dogs parted as Knight made his way through, and if they didn't move enough out of the way they would get an anger growl in return. Knight jumped onto a rock and looked over the group once more.

After he found every one's eyes on him, he barked once and lead the group through the trees and towards the forest. He followed a path that was beginning to wear into the ground, and scented the air as they got closer to town.

((Again, there are no hunters. Only Raiders, as said in the 'Ranks' section of the first post.))

The pup looked up at Vertigo. "A-are you my Teacher, or j-just Top Dog?" he stuttered.
"I'll decide that today, pup. For now, focus on your task."
The little pup wagged his tail and carried his head a little higher. The Top Dog could be his Teacher! The others would be jealous of him, and respect him more if she was.

The pup followed Vertigo as she skirted the edges of town, then suddenly turned into and alley, jogging for all the world like she was herding a flock of sheep. After a few more turns, the collie stopped her 'herding' and crouched behind a few empty wooden crates. "Here it is, and the door's propped open, too! Now remember, wait until they open the glass."
Shaking, the pup nodded and shoved his nose through the open door. He watched as a human walked up to the counter and talked to another behind the counter. The man behind the counter reached for the glass...
Before he knew what he was doing, two small steaks were gone from their place and arrived in Vertigo's mouth. The collie tore off, leaving the pup behind.

Dog's looks:

Dog breed: Alaskan Klee Kai. (A rare breed that is similar to a miniature Siberian Husky.)

Personality: Distrustful and aloof until you get to know her. Once that happens Garnet is intensely loyal. She tends to bite first and ask questions later, due to her ability to gather information effectively. If it looks bad she'll attack. Simple as that.

Past: She was a gift for her 'alpha human' by a breeder as a good-by present. Due to the alpha human's military career her 'pack' moved a lot. They have just settled into their new home once again and she keeps hearing these strange rumors of dogs disappearing without a trace...

The pup looked after Vertigo. "Hey wa-"
"Get back here, you dumb dog!" the human roared, flinging the door open. The little pup flattened his ears in fear and ran after Vertigo. It was only when he ran back to the cabins did he find her.
"You left me!" he whined. "I was almost caught!"
"But you weren't, were you?" Vertigo panted. She had dropped one steak in the food pile, and one in her cabin. "Now go back to your cabin and rest."
