The Cabins in the Woods (A Stray Dog RP ~Accepting~)

Long ago this town wasn't run by the Pack, it wasn't ruled by fear. A dog could roam the streets and not have to cower in the shadows, afraid his freedom would be taken from him. But as I said, that was long ago, in times gone by. There is little chance that things will ever return to normal... unless you can change this.
The only question is, can you beat the Pack?

In a small town not far from a large river, strange things have been going on. Loyal family dogs have turned up missing, and the humans know nothing. Nothing of the new stray in town who started all of this, nothing about what has happened to their dogs, and nothing about where the missing crates of food have gone.
Vertigo has set it all up so perfectly. Nothing can go wrong.

:A B O U T:
Vertigo is the Top Dog in the Pack, she calls the shots. This clever collie has many dogs under her power, and she knows it. She can raid stores without lifting a paw. Gather new dogs with a swish of her tail. Anything.
Vertigo's Pack lives in four cabins on the far side of the river. One for the newbies, one for the expeirienced, one for pups, and one for herself. The cabins are protected by trees and undergrowth, through which various paths unwind themselves.

You are a dog under her command. When you begin, you will be a household pet or a new stray. Then, a party of dogs will capture you and bring you to the cabins. You are to await further instructions from the higher ranking dogs.

Top Dog: The lead dog in the pack.
Adviser: A dog that helps the Top Dog make tough decisions, usually a trusted friend or retired fighter.
Fighter: A gaurd. Fighters will usually protect raiding parties, some gaurd the cabins, and the best protect the Top Dog.
Raiders: Dogs that steal food from the humans. Usually slim, quiet dogs with excellent night vision.
Nurses: Female dogs who care for and raise pups born or brought into the Pack, usually older females or the mother-for a short time.
Teachers: Mentors for trainees, can teach up to three dogs at a time.
Trainees: Older pups that can stand on their own four paws or dogs brought in from the streets being trained on how to survive in the Pack.

Dog's name: Vertigo
Dog's looks: A slim dog, two black ears, one patch of black that connects to her ear covers her left eye. That eye is brown, the other is blue. She has a black saddle marking on her back, and the lower half of her flag(?) tail is black, save for the white at the very tip. There are black dots that speckle her shoulders and haunches. The rest of her fur is white.
Dog breed: Border Collie
Personality: Very commanding, and quite loud when she wants to be. The rest of the time, she is self-centered and reserved, or bossing around a trainee that has nothing to do.

*Dog's looks: She is gray with green eyes, her ears are half flopped and her tail is docked. Longer fur
Dog breed: A Australian Shepherd-Border Collie mix
Personality: Secrative, likes to stay inside until the first whisper of danger. If you know her, you would disagree with this.
Past: She was abanded by her owner and wondered until Vertigo found her and became close friends.

Vertigo stretched and yawned. She was lying on the bottom bed of a bunk bed in her personal cabin. A shaft of sunlight danced on the wooden floor, coming in through an old window. Leaping out of her bed, she went to the amazingly-still-working refrigerator and nudged it open. Nothing. She would need to scavenge for something later. The collie padded back to the sunlit floor and sat there for a few moments, soaking up the warmth.
Outside, Shakerah could be heard, and Vertigo thought of how they first met.

Shakera peered into the cabin to make shore that her oldest friend was still alright. They had known each other ever since the Pack was first formed.

Shakera was walking the streets, drenched in rain water the day they met. She was tightening her scarf around her neck with her jaws. She finally reached the edge of a clearing with four cabins. She saw a collie, who seemed to be injured.

Vertigo had just arrived at the cabins. They were perfect, the fit her plan to a T. On her journey there, however, she'd twisted her paw and had to limp the rest of the way.
She'd been sniffing around the cabins, looking for pests or any sign that humans had been there recently, when she caught the scent of another dog. "Who's there?" she growled, hackles rising.

Shakera stiffened, she didn't like the way she talked, "Depends whose asking." She said, stepping into the clearing, passed the brush and thorns.

Vertigo paused. This dog could help her build the most powerful pack that ever lived. "I wish to begin a pack for stray dogs, I mean no harm," she said, and her tail wagged slightly.

Snapping back to attention, Vertigo whipped around facing the front door, through which Shakerah was looking. "Yes, my friend? Is there anything to report?"

Shakera narrowed her eyes, she trusted no-dog, but this dog, she was different. "I'm listening." She said.

She shook her head and said, "No nothing. Some of the newbies are being a bit uncoropitive though... But its usual." Shakera paused, an awkward silance, then said, "You seem, uneasy. Is something wrong Vertigo?"

Vertigo shook her head. "No, I'm fine," she said. Padding to the door, she looked around. The leaves were changing color, from green to shades of yellow and orange. Fall would be here soon. "Food is running low, send a raiding party out at dusk. Tell them to search in the Dumpsters behind shops."
